Great church, fine pastor with many interests. Involved but with plenty of enthusiasm and boundaries plus a fantastic preacher. Older congregation that is small but so very sincere! They were very welcoming to our adult son with Autism and that is hard to find. We got involved and welcomed right away. What a blessing to find such a gem of a church!!
If you want historic authentic confessional Lutheranism (Augsburg/Evangelical Catholicism) of Martin Luther, Martin Chemnitz, Johannes Gerhard, etc. This church is definitely not for you. If you want a confessional Lutheran church with scheduled times for weekly private confession and holy absolution, etc. this church is not for you. This is not authentic Lutheranism, this is Pietism, if you are looking for pietistic “Lutheranism” that is more Evangelical than actually Lutheran, then this church just maybe for you. It is not really all that Lutheran, it is Pietism, which is not authentic Lutheranism.
