Mimi'S Learning Center

I highly recommend this Learning Center! As a new mom, I was not familiar with outside childcare for my 2 year old and ended up having an awful experience at another facility. Someone recommended this school to me, and it truly was an amazing journey. The staff/teachers are very pleasant and the learning center is kept nicely. Academics is definitely prioritize and I can guarantee that your child will leave this school prepared for their next milestone.

My daughter is 10 and still traumatized by Mrs Whitehead as well. If I could go back. I would find another place. I have guilt and I so regret sending her there after seeing the attitude of this lady. “They yell and the kids and flick (with their finger) the kids hands and foreheads whenever they do something “wrong”. The same lady would also scare them by yelling so loud over the intercom that it would wake them from their naps. I don’t know if this is acceptable but it doesn’t sit well with me.

A honest and most sincere review not by an irate parent or someone who is looking for revenge. This facility was by far the worst I have experienced in all my years coming from a educational background and running a professional business. My son attended this school briefly before I made the final decision to remove him. I read a review about a year ago to which pretty much explained exactly what I experienced. Overall, The facility is very much outdated which follows up with the layout of how MiMi’s Learning Center is operated. From the attitude of the staff especially the lady who runs the front desk they do not uphold any biblical like mannerisms to be running business on church grounds. It seems that they are more focused on portraying a christian like up upkeep to lure parents in. I choose to not share my direct experience publicly because my son’s now attends a far better school and I could of not been more pleased. But, To any parent who is looking to have their child attend this facility please look elsewhere. We are in a world where education and the care of children are questionable. Choose Wisely.

I am sharing my honest experience with the school. Ms. Mimi her self is a sweet wonderful lady. However, when my child attended, the lady in charge was the one who operated the front desk name Mrs. Whitehead. Think mean lunch lady. Think Cruel nun at a catholic school. She would walk through the class and yell so bad at the little kids. She once went into another student's hair and pulled the butterfly clips out of her hair. I saw the poor kid crying and she said the way they were removed hurt. She is sooo miserable. It has been over 2 years since my child left the school and he is still TE..RR.II.FFF.IED (TERRIFIED) about Mrs. Whitehead. She had no kind ways of speaking to the kids but she would 'try' to pretend in front the parents, but when the parents left, omg. I hope by now she has left the school. Her spirit will haunt that place eternally. Ms. Mimi knows all about this but allows it because it is her sister and I think she likes the familiarity. Most of the teachers are ok. The school overall I would give a 6 out of 10 but if this lady is still there I would give it 1 out of 10 and not recommend it out of fear of emotional and mental trauma. Ask any kid about Mrs. Whitehead. They'll tell you

I have no words to describe how incredible this school is. From the staff to the director Mimi. I've been blessed to have encounter this wonderful school; my daughter is beyond her grade level in every school subject. In love with this school.
