Coming from a family owned and operated business of my own, I was pleased to have my child return to another family-owned business. My family owned a day care for over 30 years and recently we sold the business. I did have my child attend that facility for a little but did not like the new director and the way she was running the business. So, I moved my child to Millville Day Care and so far, my experience has been great. My child seems happy and safe. I hope they continue this and treat my child like one of their own. :)

Do not send your child here. Not only is the staff unprofessional, rude and unqualified but so is the director. My daughter attended this center for the first year of her life. We had a great experience in the infant a classroom but once she moved up to infant b…everything went downhill. The teacher was the directors daughter, an unqualified and immature 19 year old. My child rarely did art activities and made little to no progress in her milestone achievement. When I questioned her progress I was asked “well did you tell her teachers you want her doing these things?” If you call yourself and an early childhood daycare center I should not be telling you what milestones my child needs to meet. There were 2 incidents that occurred that led to us leaving MDCC. We found out one day that my daughter escaped her classroom and was missing for 20 mins. Her teachers did not even realize that she was gone. We were not even notified by her teachers. The final straw was finding out the reason our child threw up one afternoon was because she put a non edible item in her mouth and proceeded to gag on it. We were not informed of this incident either. I requested a meeting with the director to inform her we were pulling our child and the reasons behind this decision. When she found out we were leaving, she did the cowardly thing and completely canceled our meeting. If I were a director of a center, I’d like to know why a family was pulling their child. Maybe see where improvements could be made. But they just don’t care. They keep illnesses a secret, don’t send sick children home, and it’s quite possible they don’t thoroughly clean. My child was always sick while enrolled at this center. Once we moved her, she seemed to be a lot healthier. If you want your child to thrive, do NOT send them here.

The thought of having to put my 4 month old in daycare back in August was absolutely terrifying. Millville daycare was the only place available so I took a chance, and I am so great full that I did. The ladies who take care of my son truly are amazing. They care for him as he is their own, they talk to me every day at pickup to let me know how his day went, they listen to me if I want something done with him a certain way. And most importantly the words they said to me today "it takes a village and we just want you to know we are part of your village" will stay in my heart forever. My son and I are beyond blessed to have found such an amazing place. Thank you "infant A" ladies 💚 *Update* 12/17/24 Just wanted to again commend these ladies. They care so much about the little ones. The minute something seemed off with my son they called me to express their concerns about him. I took him to the doctor and found out he has RSV. If it weren't for how much they care, we might not have known till it got really bad. I will always recommend millville day care. Hannah, Allie, Adele and the rest of the girls are truly amazing 👏

As I kid I went to this school (2012 ish) and it traumatized me. Id we were bad the teachers would take our lunch times or snack times. Also, If the teachers were upset with us they would lock us in a dark closet and would bang on the door. they would say that the monsters were coming to get us. I peed myself oen day there (for soemreason any time the fire alarms went off i would pee myself). She simply told me to let it dry.
