Millennium Child Development Center - P/S

Our kids have attended Millennium CDC since infancy. I cannot overstate how thankful I am every day that we chose them to care for our children. We love the staff, the teachers, and the friends our children have made there. My 6 year old met her best friend there 5 years ago and they still have the sweetest friendship. Both of my kids love their teachers so much that they stop by their old classrooms just to give hugs to their favorite teachers. It’s been incredible to watch my kids grow and see their self confidence soar over the years they have been with Millennium. Our kids are confident and curious, thanks in large part to Millennium.

We have since moved on but this had been a place of child care for my family for over 3 years. We have time invested in this center during and after hours. To give a rating like this disgust me, but so does the director. Lisa, the head of the vacaville center has said this in her review of the facility: (copied from google “review”) “At Millennium, teachers concentrate on making each child feel worthy, capable, and loved. A child's experience at Millennium CDC is a stepping stone for a life-long joy of learning that includes feelings of empowerment and a true feeling of "family" in their classroom and school. We have happy children, happy families and happy teachers:)” Our child has openly shared her feelings of unworthiness and Unhappiness with not only us but her teachers and other classes teachers. If we are being picked on, then they are wrong. If we are being overly protective, then that’s my right as a parent and their duty to ease my feelings, which they have not done. The meetings we’ve had with the director have only confirmed that we are being singled out. Because this place has not given our child the capability of learning in a safe environment. While many of the teachers are amazing. There are few that just should not be in a child development environment and are damaging to young children. So if having your child punished by a child care provider is ok with you then your view of being a parent is askew and maybe you should keep paying the outrages tuition they are charging. And beware of yearly increases in tuition with flimsy promises of “enhanced quality of education” and also equality as an employer.

Our baby, Luke, has been going to Millennium Child Development Center in Vacaville for about a year now. They do a great job! Luke loves his teachers.
