The Millburn Co-op will always hold such a special place in our hearts. My oldest attended for 3 years (3’s & 4’s and the K School) and my daughter attended the 2.5’s and the 3’s and 4’s so we have experienced each of the levels offered. Each one of the teachers my children had were remarkable individuals who cared for them so deeply, and helped them to grow and learn as individuals. I got to see their love of learning develop as well as their creativity and independence flourish. They spent time outside everyday, and rainy days were their favorite. We absolutely adore this school!
My daughter spent two incredible years at the Millburn Co-Op. The teachers are the most nurturing and caring people, as well as knowledgeable in all things related to child development. The community aspect of the school is another important thing to note. I have made some very close friends through this wonderful new family we found! I can’t wait for my son to start.
My son attended the co-op for three wonderful years! It is welcoming, warm, child-centered, and truly just an amazing place for young children to have their first school experience. My son tells everyone proudly that he went to Millburn Co-op and we can't wait for our youngest to start next year so we can continue to be a part of the wonderful community.
The Millburn Co-op has been such a special part of our family’s life. Our older daughter attended the 3s, 4s, and K School programs, and our younger daughter just finished the 2 ½ year class. The Co-op is truly a magical place -- one that gave both of our girls a joyful, meaningful, and formative start. Throughout their time there, our daughters were encouraged to be adventurous and curious, while also learning important life skills like independence, problem solving, and emotional regulation. They loved playing outside in puddles, exploring the mud kitchen, finding earthworms, and getting messy in the best ways! The Co-op nurtured our daughters’ creativity and empathy, and helped shape them into the thoughtful, imaginative kids they are today. The teachers genuinely love and respect the children, and it shows in everything they do. We’re so grateful to be part of this incredible and nurturing community, and could not recommend it enough.
We were incredibly fortunate to be able to send both our girls here - they participated in the mixed 3/4 classroom at the location next to Taylor Park. I can not recommend this highly enough in terms of how the children grow during their time here, the focus on how to be a kind human, the teachers, how they all foster a love of learning and the world around us meeting children where they are at, the participation in the community and overall the presence of the school leaders, teachers and to the parents all working to support the kids here. We've as a family made so many friends through this - been in the Summer school camps and built a large community - all from when we joined as we were new to NJ when we started. If you're at all curious - please go do yourself a favor, take a tour and check it out. I doubt you'll be disappointed.
