Midtown Montessori Santa Cruz

We can’t recommend Midtown Montessori enough! As a French family, we really value quality education, and after a pretty rough experience at our son’s previous school, we were honestly a bit worried about making another change. But wow, what a difference Midtown Montessori has made. This is our second year here and our son is absolutely thriving. We really appreciate how stable the teaching staff is - all the teachers are incredible and have been with the school for years. In our experience, that kind of consistency is so important for kids, and you can really see how much they care. We love all the different activities they do, the field trips, and how they approach different topics. It feels very well-rounded, which is something we were looking for. Our son comes home excited about what he learned, which honestly wasn’t happening at his old school. For any families considering Midtown Montessori, especially if you’ve had a bad experience elsewhere like we did, this place is really special. It’s been such a relief to find a school where our son is happy and growing.

I cannot express my gratitude for Midtown Montessori and their staff. This is an incredible preschool! The teachers are caring, compassionate, patient, helpful, and do a wonderful job promoting curiosity, learning, kindness, emotional regulation, problem solving, play...the list goes on. My child has been attending since she was 2.5, and I have seen incredible growth that I know is in part attributed to Midtown. I love this school of ours, and I feel good knowing my child is getting the right care for her development.

We couldn't be happier with Midtown Montessori Preschool! The staff is incredibly caring and dedicated, creating a safe and stimulating environment where our three-year-old son thrives. The curriculum is engaging, the facilities are top-notch, and the communication with parents is excellent. Midtown Montessori is the best thing that happened to our family. The children are well care for. The teachers are calming, nurturing and patient with the children. My son is graduating this year and I’m so sad not to be with Midtown anymore. My family loved the community and we’ve built lasting friendships. The children learn qualities like how to fold laundry, make bread, plant food/flowers, gardening, cleaning up, putting their own shoes on etc. My child will forever benefit from the care and beauty that midtown provided to him. I love this school and can’t say enough about it!

We had the most amazing experience at Midtown Montessori. My son has since moved on, but while he was there, he was well taken care of by the lovely Joe and Sybil(she’s no longer there, but Joe is!). I still keep in touch with the wonderful families I met there because it was a true community. I have nothing but the best memories from Midtown Montessori and I’m so grateful that my son was able to get this experience.
