Midlands Primary Learning Center has been one of the best choices my wife and I made for our family. Our three daughters have all gone through their program and the last of them just graduated. I can't put words just how much every member of the Midlands Primary Learning Center team means to us. The directors and staff's communication are stellar. We were always updated with the kids progress in class and upcoming events well in advance. Any issues with the kid's behaviors were communicated discreetly, but professional and direct. It's been great seeing our kids excited to learn and happy to go spend time with the staff. They treat the little ones with so much love and respect, and it shows in the way the kids respond to them. I genuinely admire everyone at Midlands Primary Learning Center, and I appreciate them for everything they've done.
I can’t say enough good things about MPLC. They’ve guided, not just one but 2 of my kiddos through 3k and 4k and it’s been such a good experience. After my first child finished 4k through them and went to kindergarten, the teacher talked so highly about how advanced he was in comparison to the other students! And now, my youngest son just finished 4k through them and will be staring kindergarten next week. I have zero complaints - the experience was amazing and they truly love your kids like they’re their own. They encourage them to be as independent as possible, to try to foods, and to be good friends all while offering one of the best learning experiences. The teachers and admins are both wonderful and they’ve truly become a part of the family! ❤️
My daughter didn’t feel comfortable leaving a review but I will. I find it hard to believe the high 5 star ratings this place has. They are definitely more about the money than the quality of care they offered my grandbaby when he was here. I have nothing good to say about this place.
HIGHLY RECOMMEND!!! Transitioning from being a child at home with grandma to a center that gives the same love and support is a breath of fresh air. Being able to go to work and not feel on edge about the care your child is receiving is so comforting. I have seen my child grow in so many ways and I give all thanks to the teachers and staff at MPLC. It's not just his teachers that push him to be great, it's every member of the MPLC team. The directors are always present and interactive with the children and families. Special shout out to his teachers Chavonte and Quasa because they are so patient with my boy!!!! 🥰🥰
IF YOU ARE EASILY FOOLED AND LACK HIGH STANDARDS, THIS IS THE CENTER FOR YOU!!! I would love to know what ELSE this place has to hide after our experiences here. Why my child hated coming here towards the end of his enrollment here. Despite all the high reviews, I am not the only parent that had issues here and removed their child while we were there. They also lost two good teachers there while we were there. I guess people don’t want their concerns downplayed, or get intimidated by the directors here, as they have a tendency to do when an issue arises. Thankfully, I started the process at another daycare a week prior to our last day because things weren’t adding up. I realized it was time to go when my child couldn’t explain to me why he started hating it here, had severe meltdowns every morning, and kept begged me to send him to another school. He also developed an unexplained anger issue that is now requiring therapy. Keep in mind, I often caught the teachers yelling at the younger kids in the classrooms when they cried, for whatever unnecessary reason they had, when I arrived unexpectedly. I also witnessed lack of concern and consideration at a kick ball event, where a child was dismissed and told to be quiet aggressively while crying because his stomach hurt. I took it upon myself to try to console him, in which he ended up vomiting and going home that day. This was the same teacher who found it amusing to intentionally win all the kickball games against the children, and didn’t care that it made them cry. I’ve often caught teachers on their phones during pick up and have proof of it in photos that were uploaded onto Bright wheel. Take NOTE, I am a woman of PROOF AND DOCUMENTATION!!! Apparently trying to have a professional conversation once you accidentally stumble across certain activities is, “controversial”, once you show proof of lies and contradictory statements. You also won’t get direct answers to your questions. They will attempt to delete proof, contradict themselves, catch an attitude, and will release you from the facility (He wasn’t coming back after this last incident anyway) when lies are uncovered. Luckily for me, I save all of the photos and conversations as they come in the Bright wheel app. Perhaps this is why they rather have conversations in person rather than leave a paper trail. Expect constant changes in policies to help them validate their irrational decisions, lies, no accountability, and attitude if you question unethical practices. My child has gotten hurt here on more than one occasion, and no one seems to know what happens. Don’t expect an incident report half the time either. Good luck to anyone who sends their child here who has any type of standards and expectations.
