Midland Cosmotology department 2026 culture and attitude so rude and bad used to get my hair done all the time as a student here Elizabeth answered the phone and was so moody she thought she hung up the line at the end of the call and she didn’t and after I heard all the unprofessional things she said about clients then Michael called me right back with an attitude and denied me to get my hair done here because he said all his students cannot achieve anything for me for just a hair cut and ombré I’ve done in the past and told me “to look elsewhere at another college maybe” just like that just because I asked if anyone could call me back for a consultation something done in the past a lot of attitude and unhappy people this year it not that hard to just be nice and ethical it’s unfortunate I miss ms Marcie and Patricia she would even message me to remind me of appointments and asked me for consultation before coming in this is not the midland college culture and it’s sad that their own instructor doesn’t have faith in his students unpleasant experience today hope the dean Mr. Mai can do something about this culture fast I know Mr Mai is a very very pleasant professor in the past and wouldn’t allow such behavior or culture as a business professor. 🤲 let bring the midland college atmosphere back 🤲 - disappointed student

I have enjoyed my time at Midland College! I graduated from their LVN program in 2020, and now I am about to graduate from their RN program. I am happy about the changes that they have made to the faculty. I am happy with certain changes and updates that have been made in the college as a whole. It makes it easier for ALL students to succeed and have a chance in this college.

I’ve been watching my daughter go through this school for the last few semesters and I would never recommend midland college. The professors are terrible. Half the time they don’t want to do their even want to do their job. One professor told my daughter, this is college not high school when she asked about a study guide for a test when I had study guides at tech and in my masters program. I’ve seen more times where adults are trying to make new adults feel stupid rather than help them gain an actual education. Do better

The instructors are great! But my instructor was the best Wayne Jones. He taught me everything to know and to be able to succeed and get my CDL. And now I have my commercial driver license! It's actually a really fun School. Only takes a month long. One of the best decisions I've ever made in my life. You won't regret it!

I mainly go to Midland College to walk our pups. The college is well maintained outside. It could use some mulch around the bushes and flowers but I suppose it would just blow away with the West Texas winds. The maintenance staff is a group of 5-star individuals. They are quick with a hello and will stop mowing the lawn or blowing leaves whenever we walk by. A couple of times, they have offered to throw away my dogs’ trash bag. I always refuse because it’s not their job; it’s my job and I am a guest. It’s still a very kind gesture on their behalf!
