We were at the ELC for three years. We had issues from the start in the infant room. They will boil your breastmilk. I picked my baby up one day and they had just done a bottle, 17 minute car ride home and the bottle was still too hot to drink. Another time baby went 5 hours without a bottle. When my child was two found out from another teacher that they were at one point holding my babies face and force feeding him a bottle even though he didn’t want it…this was after concerns of the 5 hours without a bottle was raised. We would then outgrow one room and move to the next in hopes that things would improve because a decent child care center in this area is hard to come by however things continued to escalate. Another child was beating on kids in the toddler room, sitting on top of kids and hitting the other child with both fists from each side. This was witnessed first hand while picking up our kid one day. This also happened to our son, per his words. My son learned making a fist and hitting people from this place. This is not something he would have learned at home. Another day our son came home with a bruise across his entire cheek, he looked like the joker all weekend. Literally nobody could tell us what happened “even after checking cameras.” Things finally came to a head when the same child who was beating up on kids taught our son several bad words. He now knows the F, and B word, says “what the…” I withdrew my son after the F word, he never stepped a foot back in their center. It’s been a month now since then and we’ve seen huge improvements in behavior since not being there. Middletown Christian could be a great center however when concerns were raised their response is that they can’t control what kids learn at home and most of the families that go there don’t even go to church. I will never recommend this place to another parent.

The staff and teachers at this center are wonderful people who not only take great care of my kids, but also teach them well. Whoever is in charge of the hiring has done a great job, because the teachers are qualified and kind. Ms. Cara, Ms. Chris, Mr. Ray, and Ms. Ty are especially great and who we interact with the most, but everyone I talk to there is nice. The teachers are always happy to talk with me about my kids at pickup and drop off. The teachers use lesson plans to keep the kids on track acedemically. My 4 year old is starting to read, and my 2 year old can almost count to 10. Being a Christian center, they teach about Jesus, and my kids have received a good introduction to Christianity. They also encourage play, and have an outdoor and indoor playground, so the kids can get exercise even when the weather is bad. The waitlists to get in can be a little long, especially for the younger classes, but I see why! Importantly, there are small class sizes, so there are always a lot of staff around. The facility is also carpeted, which is nice for clumsy toddlers not to land on hard tile, and it is always clean. This is a top-notch daycare center, and I feel at ease leaving my kids here.

Great experience for my son. From summer daycare to preschool he really enjoys it. Great staff and great security. They don't have cameras but the interior playroom is great for the kids during the cold months.

They need to pray for a janitor cause the gymnasium was filthy and smelled awful.

This Daycare center is a joke... unless your child attends this school or is a child of one of the office workers, do not even waste your time. First off they are way to over priced for what they offer for after school care. I pay $70 a week for my child to get off the bus at 4pm and sit in silence for the next hour and then barely do anything for the hour after that until being picked up at 6. The school aged kids are rude and mean to outsiders which is sad for this being a "Christian" place. The only reason I gave one star is because you can not give less and the only reason my child is still going here is because there are literally no other day cares with any open spots for after-school. I see now why they have after school openings though because NO ONE wants to bring there child here unless you are in their "Christian Circle". Shame on you all for the way you handle outsiders and for the way you are stealing peoples money just to let a child sit in your building for 2 hours a day.
