Middle River Baptist Church Child Dev Ct

I have had two grandchildren here and their program is wonderful . My granddaughter was so prepared for kindergarten - she is now in second grade and and is above the grade level in math and reading ( her parents are both teachers and give a lot of the credit to MRBaptist Development center .) Loving and caring staff ! My grandson is beyond ready for Kindergarten- he loves it there .

Absolutely awful experience. My children went here for the school-age program and they had children in kindergarten in the same room as children in 5th grade. That is an awful idea. Then, they wonder why the little kids are getting bullied and smacked around. Also, the staff is pretty awful. All of the good staff members left (and for good reason too) and all they all they have hired now are inexperienced "teachers" who don't know what they're doing. There was an incident where this one "teacher" was cleaning up from "snack" (by the way they would often give them soured milk and expired foods) and my son was touched by a student and my daughter intervened to protect her younger brother, only to get in trouble with the "teacher" for putting her hands on a student. They would not listen to her side of the story and decided that she was the one who should be sent to the office with her brother. The student who put his hands on my son did not get into any trouble at all. There were multiple incidents like this and they did not handle them at all. They are too slow to remove or expell children after multiple offensive to other children, "teachers", and even the churches property. There was one more incident that we still have issues with. One of the teachers (who actually used to be a teacher) would treat my daughter like a friend. A friend. Whenever they would argue, said teacher would text me and my husband to get her side of the story to us before my daughter even got home. There was one time, she went to my daughter, and the other oldest child there and said "(name), (name) this summer, well be getting lots of new kindergartners, so I expect you guys to help me with them". Now, this doesn't seem like such a bad thing to say, but she never added it would include situations where she sent my daughter out into the hall with another student to calm him down as he had a tantrum. He told her some really awful things about his family, that no child should have to go through. I feel for him, and I am devastated at the fact that the church refused to treat him and his siblings' behavior issues as reasons for this situation. In fact, they would often gossip about the awful situation those children were put in. My daughter still struggles with issues concerning responsibility, and we all blame it fully on this teacher. We left instantly and my daughter still gets really mad whenever anyone mentions the place because of how awful they were. I only gave them one star because I couldn't write a review with zero. I'm warning you all, don't send your children there.

Cant say enough positive things about this childcare center. I know have had two children 11yrs apart go through here and both loved/love it. Its a secure facility, which was my first priority, and secondly they are curriculum based. I also really love that they incorporate religion and hold programs for Thanksgiving and Christmas. Something unique is that they provide a cooked breakfast and lunch. They are loving and nurturing and truly care for the children.

Our daughter went torbcdc from 6 months until she started kindergarten. They provide the appropriate amount of disclipine and tons of love. C was preped and ready for kindergarten with knowledge and confidence.ncant say enough about this place. Love you Ms Sharon, Ms Colleen,

I have volunteer here in 2016. I loved the staff and childern . I recommend this daycare to any one that are looking for child care.💖. There relationship with the childern and babies is adorable and unexplaining. Keep up the great work and love .
