We love Midbar Kodesh Temple! We have been going here for the past 5 years. Both of my sons have been part of the religious school program. One already celebrated his bar mitzvah here, and the other is still attending. The clergy, staff, and community are so welcoming and supportive. It truly feels like family, and we’re grateful to call it our spiritual home.
I have been teaching Yoga at Midbar Kodesh preschool during their summer program and they are exceptional. The teachers here do so much with the students. They are working on life skills. Teaching young children from 18 months to four years old how to dress themselves, tie their shoes, become independent . I was so impressed to see they are teaching these young children how to respond to adults with their first and last name! They do so many activities with them. Along with teaching these young children how to be respectful, follow directions and take ownership of themselves. I have seen such an improvement in the students in the short time of four weeks 🤍 I could not recommend this preschool more. They are exceptional top-notch!!!
I highly recommend this hidden gem. All the teachers & staff are very welcoming, they go above & beyond every day for the kids. Ms. Johanna & Mr. Anthony are the highlight of my son’s week. They are kind, caring & patient; providing an independent space for my son to grow. You can feel the love, they give each kid the special attention they need. The classrooms & playgrounds are very clean & simple, allowing the kids to use their imagination & grow without too many distractions. The weekly art & music class are an extra bonus.
MKT Early Childhood Center is truly one of the best preschools in Henderson. The curriculum, the STAFF (literally every single teacher and teachers aide is truly wonderful), the facilities. It is a safe, nurturing environment for kids 18 months+ They have made some changes in the last couple of years and it has only enriched and elevated the family experience. The Director, Sandi, is wonderful at partnering and communicating with the families. Great daily programming in each of the classrooms. Can’t recommend enough.
I had the chance to send my daughter to this fantastic program 20 years ago. It was good then it is fantastic now! I see my friends children and grandchildren growing and learning and happy. Miss Val at the ECC has been there for years and she adds, so much magic and creativity and love to the school. If you have the opportunity, you should give your kids the chance to attend one of the best preschools in southern Nevada.
