I toured this daycare after hearing great recommendations, but I left with serious concerns. The toddler rooms felt very closed off, and there’s no meal schedule shared unless you ask day of. I was alarmed to learn they serve popcorn to children as young as 1, which is a well known choking hazard for kids under 4. While the owner said they’d offer an alternative if requested, I believe it shouldn’t be served at all. The infant area was what ultimately made me decide against enrolling. It’s located in the basement with a steep staircase, and the nap room I was shown was dark with loud music and no staff present. I saw babies sleeping in swings and bouncers with loose blankets..practices that go against all safe sleep guidelines. I’m sharing this not to be harsh, but because I think other parents deserve to know what I witnessed when making such an important decision.
My daughter just finished preschool here and we had nothing but an amazing experience! I have nothing but nice things to say about the staff especially the owner Irene and the preschool teacher Liz! I will always recommend Tiny Tots when someone is looking for a preschool/daycare 😊
