My review refers to the playground and not the rest of the facilities. This will be the perfect park if there were any restrooms available. It has good variety of play structures and elements that invite the kids to explore. The landscaping filters some of the noises from the busy street and airport and provides a little bit of a patchy shade. It is not possible to see the whole playground from one spot and there are open green areas surrounding the playground. There are trash and recycling bins but some people still choose to litter.
They playground itself is amazing! It has plenty of activities for the kids to enjoy. Everything was clean and well taken-care of. A big con for me personally was the amount of raccoons we saw as we were walking in. At first I didn’t think much of it, but as we sat down to eat they continued to approach us. There also was no bathroom available, making it a very uncomfortable situation for my 4 year old. There isn’t a lot of parking available, which is a double edged sword, as it wasn’t crowded and the kids were able to use all the equipment!
Very interesting place with a unique history. A place for kids camps with a public playground for the kiddos. Not much in the way of hiking trails

The park is great but I want to call the attention of the park for the loose wires that covers the trees and are dangerous for kids. Please check this and fix it.
