I can't say enough about how wonderful Merri-Loo is! My 2 kids went for both the Nursery and the Pre-K programs. The programs are well thought out, challenging, fun, fully interactive between teachers and students, and my kids were more than prepared to enter Kindergarten. The class sizes are small and manageable, the teachers are able to really get to know each student and their individual needs. We've made a lot of friends at Merri-Loo and I've seen kids grow and thrive with Ms. Karyn and Ms. Heidi. I also love the schedule, it's almost a full day for the Pre-K kids and my daughters just thrived in that routine. The cost of this school is also worth mentioning, everything is so expensive with kids, it's nice to be with a school focused on keeping tuition affordable. We've had a wonderful experience at Merri-Loo!!
Merri Loo Community Preschool has been such a wonderful place to send my 2 children. Their nursery program is nurturing and works with a broad range of children’s social-emotional needs. Their PreK program was an excellent way to prepare my child for kindergarten through creative activities and play based learning. I love being able to have hands on involvement as each of my children began their academic journey.
We have been sending all our kids to Merri Loos Preschool since 2018. We are now on our 3rd child there, and it's a great place to start your kids off into school. Heidi and Karen are very kind and friendly to the kids. Even our shy kids have done very well there. It's a small school but honestly that's what we liked about it to start off. The cost is very fair, especially when compared to similar schools in the area. I would definitely recommend Merri Loos to others.
Merri-Loo's has been such a pivotal stop in both of my children's development. My Daughter first attended in 2021 for the Pre-K Program and my son now attends for Nursery. Through this school I have found such a great community to be a part of and an active role in my children's education. They are a community based preschool meaning they are partially run by parent involvement. In exchange for your involvement your tuition rates are discounted which is so helpful for families who are seeking part-time care for less. The teachers are incredible and truly and love and care for the children and their wellbeing. While the school is focused on play based learning, my children have come home full of knowledge and my Daughter entered Kindergarten well prepared and academically advanced. It is a small school but the classroom and playground are well taken care of. The small setting makes it less intimidating for a young child that this may be their first formal childcare placement. I would not envision my children going anywhere else for their Prek years!
Very happy we chose this preschool for our daughter! The teachers are so nice and great with the kids, and our daughter has learned so much!
