The labor and delivery department was absolutely outstanding! I delivered my baby on September 4th, 2025 and every nurse and staff member was incredible—kind, attentive, and truly supportive throughout the entire experience. Nurse Ipek went above and beyond, especially knowing this was my first child, and I’m so grateful for her care and compassion. Dr. Connolly, Dr.Brown and the entire team made me feel safe, informed, and cared for every step of the way. I will forever be thankful for such an amazing delivery experience! 💕

My son came in the day after the blizzard with a possible broken wrist and elbow. Everyone was so kind and patient, making my son feel comfortable and safe. From the front desk, to the doctors, and tech, everyone was wonderful. We even got to take a picture with the doctor! Thank you to everyone there for making our difficult situation so much easier to navigate, especially in the middle of a huge storm! ❤️❤️

⭐ ✅💝 ICU Nurse Paige S. I had an excellent experience working alongside ICU nurse Paige S during my clinical rotation at Riverview Medical Center as a Chamberlain University nursing student. Paige demonstrated outstanding clinical knowledge, professionalism, and compassion throughout the shift. She took the time to explain patient conditions, medications, and critical care interventions, which greatly enhanced my learning experience. Paige was patient, supportive, and always willing to answer questions, making me feel welcomed and encouraged as a student. Her calm demeanor, strong critical thinking, and dedication to patient-centered care truly reflect what an exceptional ICU nurse should be. I am very grateful for the opportunity to learn from her and would highly recommend her as an excellent ICU nurse and mentor. 💝 ICU Nurse Manager Cecile D I would like to express my sincere appreciation to ICU Nurse Manager Cecile D for providing such a positive and supportive learning environment during my clinical experience at Riverview Medical Center. As a Chamberlain University nursing student, I felt welcomed, respected, and valued in the ICU. Cecile demonstrated exceptional leadership, professionalism, and commitment to both patient care and nursing education. Her support of students and staff created a structured, safe, and educational atmosphere that allowed me to gain meaningful insight into ICU nursing practice. It was clear that she leads with compassion, organization, and a strong focus on excellence in care. This experience significantly contributed to my professional growth, and I am truly thankful for the opportunity to observe and learn under her leadership. EMERGENCY 🚨 DEPARTMENT I had a great experience in the Emergency Department at Riverview Medical Center in Red Bank while following day shift nurse Kristen D. as a nursing student from Chamberlain University. She was professional, knowledgeable, and very supportive. Kristen took time to explain patient care and demonstrated excellent critical thinking in a fast-paced ED. I’m grateful for the learning experience and truly appreciated her mentorship.

I waited 6 hours to see an emergency room physician. I explained to every nurse who would listen that not only do I know that I have pneumonia, I also believe I have a blood clot given the level of pain when trying to breathe. I stood up for the full 6 hours, sitting resulted in more pain. Hours 4-6 included gasping for air as my condition worsened. Finally after several tests an ER doctor visited and said “you were right, you have pneumonia and blood clots.” The physician filled me in on next steps, more tests. Shift change took place. I requested to speak to a physician at 430am, the nurse (who was edgy with me and the woman next to me) said you’ll have to wait until 7am. Nino an ER tech was kind and professional. He explained the problems with a lack of beds, fixed my wires and treated me kindly. Diana (a nurse) was also professional and kind. Overall my experience in the HMH Red Bank was very poor. That said the nurse on duty (Sabrina) has been very thorough this morning. Sabrina is reviewing my file, explaining next steps and providing nice care. Day 2 Update: I was moved to a room and the care has been excellent. The nursing staff (especially Cheryl) and Dr. Mikhail have been A+. I’m getting excellent care. 01/04/26 update: the care I’ve received in the last 24 hours has been excellent. The nursing staff (Cheryl, Gabby and Daniela, all exceptional) - the physicians Dr’s Mikhail and Loman have been great. Lastly my Patient Experience representative (Maureen) was wonderful. Summarizing my full experience, I feel great about the way Riverview responded to my concerns and performed after a stressful initial start. Thank You-

Absolutely loved the staff. Especially Nurse Carol, Victoria, Chelsea, Daniela and PCT Mike on the 5th floor. Great at what they do and with a smile. All of the ER staff were absolutely amazing too on evening of 1/8/2026. Only issue was, there isn’t a good structure in place for patients to rest or sleep. Employees very loud, Med doors slamming all times of the night. Thankful for the nurses who moved me a few times to help since I’m a light sleeper.
