I had the absolute pleasure of performing a magic show for the amazing kids and staff at Memorial Child Care’s Summer Camp in Hollywood—and I can’t say enough great things about the experience! From the moment I arrived, I was greeted with exceptional customer service. The staff was incredibly welcoming, professional, and organized. They made sure everything ran smoothly from setup to showtime, and they went above and beyond to accommodate my needs as a performer. What truly stood out to me was the awesome, friendly environment. The energy at Memorial Child Care is something special—you can feel the warmth, positivity, and genuine care the team brings to every child’s experience. The kids were engaged, respectful, and an absolute joy to entertain, which speaks volumes about the nurturing and structured environment the staff creates every day. This is a place where children are not only safe and well cared for, but also encouraged to learn, laugh, and grow. If you're looking for a child care center that delivers fun, professionalism, and heart, Memorial Child Care is top-tier. I’d be thrilled to return anytime!

Memorial childcare center is the absolute best daycare center in hollywood. As a Memorial employee I have had the pleasure of sending all three of my girls to this school. It is more than just a daycare. The academics are outstanding and it feels like a family. We have been there from start to finish for all three kids, well not yet finished with #3 :) . I have never had one negative experience in the 7 years my kids have attended. From the front desk staff greeting my child by name to the teachers keeping me well informed on my child's progress. Honestly it was hard to send my kids to elementary school after their VPK program because I was scared I wouldn’t find people who cared for us and had as good academia as they they do. The director Mary's attitude is very caring and she is always outdoing herself on curriculum, themes and fun, she is absolutely amazing. I feel so lucky to be in the memorial childcare center family STILL. In fact I have recommended countless friends to this center and they LOVE it. There’s a reason the wait list is so long. It’s truly a blessing to know the staff and teachers and to know I’m sending my kids to a school who cares for them and for me. I would recommend 100/5 stars if I could.

I cannot even begin to tell you how AMAZING the staff that works at the Memorial Child Care Center are! I sent my first child there and even though it was the middle of a pandemic, they were awesome! Some of her teachers in both Toddler 1 and 2 classrooms were even kind enough to send me pictures of her while in school, which made my day! There was rarely a day when my daughter didn't want to go to school. Her vocabulary grew immensely and they helped me potty train her. Even when I had concerns they were addressed with kindness and urgency. I am appalled that other people had such a horrible experience because this is definitely NOT the memorial way. There is always two sides of the story. I have nothing but good things to say. Don't hesitate to send your kids here if you work for Memorial.

Horrible experience. At first I was so excited to have my 2 yr old son attend, but every time I dropped him off I started to feel like he burdened the staff. It started by me asking the toddler two teacher Sandy if my son is potty training her exact response was, “ we don’t force kids to use the toilet, It causes trauma.” Then I sent my son to school for a few hours and he came back home with a bright red rash. I called the school and the exact words were, “ You send your son to school in soaking wet diapers.” The last straw was when a meeting was called. The manager Mary Peddy first words were are your recording, she asked me three times if I was recording. Then she started to say my son has speech issues and he has not progressed at all since he has been there. Then she said the staff doesn’t want to pick my 2 yr old up when he is crying on the floor in the morning after he is dropped off. He is too heavy. Mary stated, all of the staff say that you just stand there while he cried. I asked for a piece of paper to take notes. Then she tossed a pad of paper at me. She said , why didn’t you bring my own paper. I stayed quiet and took the paper. As I was writing she said that I am so rude for not looking at her, that she has never had a parent take notes and she wants to end the meeting. I tried to talk with the toddler two staff regarding my son. Mary shouted at me “His last day will be June 16 and I am calling security”. Mary Peddy said that I threatened her. I was crying at this point telling them I need day care to continue working. Mary continued to say she is being threatened and she is calling security. I never once threatened her, I wish I recorded the event because she repeatedly shouted at me with demeaning comments about me and my sons speech delay. Worst experience I have ever had, especially since it involved my child. This is a very short summary of all that was said to me in that meeting. I asked the teacher Sandy what she feels. Her exact words were, “That is my boss I have to do what she says.”. I hope that Mary Peddy will never be in direct contact with kids or their parents again. She at least needs some sensitivity/ communication training.

A lady working there named Mary Petty is extremely rude and unprofessional. She does NOT know how to communicate with parents. Doesn't let you talk, asks a question and talks over you. Then when you do reply back she pulls a "Karen" saying how she feels threatened. Also, they want children that don't run, walk, scream, talk, move or breath apparently. I wouldn't recommend this place to anyone.
