My child was disenrolled from the program due to a DCYF after concern complaint of staff with my child’s food being misplaced, taken or “thrown out”. There was a sell by date and I was told I was allowed to bring food for the week for my child as my child was having issues eating lunch box meals and preferred fresh prepared food. Due to the fact that I was told I could not order food for him. I brought in a weeks worth of food, fruits proteins, etc, and there was $46 worth of missing food. When I made the final complaint that they were Supposedly, throwing out my food by the cell by day and not by the expiration date, I immediately got an email that my child was disenrolled from the program to cover themselves from my state complaint. The professional misconduct from the teachers does not create a trusting environment. Unless you pay out-of-pocket, you are allowed to have an authority with the teachers. However, if you are receiving financial aid, your child is looked at and viewed that as if they are doing you a favor to watch your child. They focus on the fact that there is a nurse on staff, and that there are teachers that have to have some form of child development education. However, the behaviors of most teachers do not conduct the maturity and standard of childhood development.. It’s very nice on the outside but the inside shows that the preservation of the school matters more than the children within it.

My daughter has been going here for about 7 months and we love it. Staff and management have been very friendly to us. My daughter loves her teachers and is always excited when talking about going each day and some days doesn’t want to leave because she is having so much fun. She has also developed her speech and social skills so well the past 7 months. I see other bad reviews on here and I don’t know what they are talking about and other parents we talk to seem to be happy with it too.

Our daughter has been going here for almost a year and we couldn't be happier. The director is amazing, her teachers take such a personal interest, and the whole organization seems to be centered around removing the hassles of childcare. We waited for almost 18 months on the waiting list to get her in and had the opportunity to compare with another 4 star daycare center and there really is no comparison.

Meeting Street School is an incredible place of learning and enrichment for the children in our community. I work with the Bottaro Law Firm and we have been so lucky to be apart of their mission for almost a decade! We will always recommend and support Meeting Street.

Horrible management, any concerns brought up to director were immediately met with annoyance and totally dismissive. I had several issues with my daughter’s care during 2022, unfortunately as a naive and young mom I didn’t know what I know now. I personally witness multiple actions from a teacher who should have been reprimanded however, I was the one who was met with backlash. DO NOT GO HERE!
