All communities should be so fortunate to have a community service center on par with The Mechanicville Area Community Services Center. The Center does it all. They host events, have food programs, serve as an information resource, provide legal assistance and more. The services they provide is only the half of it. Their team is wonderful, compassionate, fun and energetic. I've had the pleasure to work with Megan and Emily and they are great.
If you feel apprehensive to seek help because of past judgment at other places you've visited like I did please know that this will never be the case here. Everyone here was extremely warm and friendly and they have helped my family tremendously! My family thanks you for the help you've given us, we really appreciate everyone there!
The community center has been absolutely amazing for me and my son who has attended aftercare at hoosick valley for 1yr and then another 2 years spent in morning and aftercare with them in the mechanicville locations. I have trusted them with my most prized possession in a 3 year span when our future was uncertain. They made us both feel so welcome and the directors Marianne and Priscilla and not sure shes a director but also Sam <3 have left an everlasting impression on us, we feel truly blessed to have had the experience we did with the mechanicville community summer. Not to mention the *AMAZING * summer camp , with tons of adventures spent with amazing people making amazing memories with amazing friends! We will cherish the memories and be forever grateful! Thank you everyone! We will miss you!!!!! ❤❤❤
I want those seniors in Mechanicville who need/want help to know that this organization actually exist and want to help those of us that need help. And while doing so Do Not make you feel like none of us want to feel and some other organizations make us feel. Contact them they have so many options that will help you and lift your spirits at the same time. Thank you Karin, Danielle and Andrea.
