May'S Bilingual Preschool

My two daughters stayed in May's Chinese/English School for three years. They had a great time in school and made many good friends. Now they are in second and first grade, and both are good at reading and math. They had daily hands-on activities in May's school, now they still love drawing and crafting very much. Teachers are very kind and friendly, and are very experienced in early childhood education. highly recommend this school!

We love May’s preschool as it allows our daughter to learn mandarin as well as English! It is amazing to have a program in this area that allowed us to have this experience. Our daughter learns a lot of mandarin in the school. Plus, we also appreciate that the school does a lot of field trip (e.g., local park, food bank). If you are looking for a preschool that focuses on learning through experience, this is the one!!! It is definitely a hidden gem!!

My daughter went to May's Billingual Preschool since she was about three years old. She loves going there everyday. She has made so many friends there and has done a lot of cool projects. She improves her Chinese/English speaking skills greatly. The teachers are very friendly and caring. I highly recommend this preschool in the Ann Arbor area.

My son has been with May's bilingual preschool for a year. He like that school and he learned a lot, besides he made a lot of friends there. All the teachers are super nice and friendly. What I like most is that the teachers always lead children hike to the park nearby as long as the weather allows. I strongly recommend May's bilingual school.

My wife and I highly recommend May's Bilingual Preschool. Our son Theodore started attending May's at one year of age. This was his first preschool experience, and both he and we were a little bit anxious. However, May and her staff tailored their care to Theodore's individual needs to help him easily transition to his new environment. Within a short time, Theodore looked forward to school and would walk in on his own and begin playing with the other children. It has been gratifying to see how Theodore has grown and matured socially since he started attending May's. The staff at May's are wonderful. Each of them has substantial experience in early childhood education. They clearly love what they do, and it shows. They have a very warm relationship with all of the children. It is a small enough center that it feels very welcoming and comforting to young children. May's recently moved into a beautiful, newly-renovated building on Packard Road. The infant program is upstairs, and the preschool program is on the first floor. The preschool space is made up of several interconnected rooms that allow the children to play and explore independently. The school also has a fenced-in playground directly attached to the preschool space so that the children can play outside on nice days. We hope that your son or daughter will love May's as much as Theodore has!
