What Parents Say
Masonic Care Community of New York receives overwhelmingly positive feedback, with reviewers praising the compassionate and caring staff who prioritize resident well-being. The facility features beautiful grounds, good amenities like parking and security, and is described as one of the best senior care communities in the area. One negative review cited poor customer service during a fingerprinting appointment.
I highly recommend taken your loved ones here to get the care they deserve. The staff was thoughtful and caring. They've taken such wonderful care of my uncle for several years until the Lord God brought him home recently. The grounds are beautiful with lovely landscapes and statutes to walk around. The view in his room was beautiful looking out his window, you always new what season it was by that. I should have taken it on another day, but through the blinds you could see. The only complaint we had was his electronic photos, someone had taken the wire from it, inwhich the staff was certain it was another resident, but it's not certain where it went. Above all he received the greatest care.
This review is only in relation to grounds keeping and getting to identigo. The campus plows had no regard for traffic. Snow was plowed over the sign for where I had to Go makingng me late. Then, no one was available to let me (for which there is no signage stating someone has to let you in. Also, no phone number to contact someone). I stood in the breezeway until someone happened by. I hope the rest of this place is run better, for the sake of you and/or your relatives.
There is not enough help. My father is being neglected and got an infection because of it. We have tried to address the issue many many times to no avail. My father is a 63 year member of the Mason's and thought he would be taken care of. We are paying over $13,000 a month. This is unacceptable.
Whoever did Fingerprinting on 9/10 around 2 has an attitude problem. I already waited over an hour (really not a problem) but when getting my picture done he kept huffing and puffing telling me to sit up straight when the real problem was I was out of frame, he even rolled his eyes at me. Another person who was also getting their fingerprints had to come in and move the chair and fix the actual issue.
I would rate this nursing home ZERO stars if i could. Every time i come to see my mother she’s being neglected. The staff is terrible they do not care for their patients. I’ve called multiple times and even spoke to HR about this and nothing is being done. This is very frustrating and honestly disappointing. DO BETTER MASONIC.
