What Parents Say
Martin Luther King Pre-Kindergarten is a highly-regarded pre-K 4 center where parents report their children thrived academically and emotionally. Teachers are consistently praised for patience, care, and effective instruction, with many parents noting their children's strong academic foundation and love of school. The program is well-organized with strong parent communication and tools to support learning at home.
My daughter attended last year, and will be back again due to her birthday making her ineligible for kindergarten. Her teacher was Mr. Bell and I can say she thrived and received so much structure. She had a rough adjustment due to this being her first time in a school setting (no daycare); she screamed and cried a lot, but her teacher and the staff —including the lovely principal— was so patient and loved on her. She loves school, and her teacher, and I’m so glad she went here and will have the opportunity to go again.
My child attended this school and I have nothing but good things to say! Ms. Murray is an amazing teacher! The staff and Ms. Thomas (PRINCIPAL) were also great! My child learned so much during her 1st year of school. Forever thankful for the amazing experience!
This school is the bomb! Well organized programs. This is a pre-k 4 only school, so everyone’s focus is on bettering each child’s future with real life scenarios. I love my sons teacher Ms. Terry! She keeps me informed with the remind app. Absolutely love it! Wish she can follow my son. They have tools for parents to use at home that will help with continuing their learning on a regular everyday basis.
My son Adonis Jackson attended this school and at the time his teacher was Ms. Owens. This institution is so great and she was the best teacher he could have ever been blessed with. You know that a teacher has made an impact when we are now approaching 2nd grade and he still says he wants to make her proud. He is a honor student at Codwell Elementary and it is all because of the foundation from MLK. I wish every child could go.
Excellent experience very good School Miss Savannah is a great teacher and my son benefited a lot from attending Martin Luther King early childhood development
