The last year that was a thriving volunteer week for me was in1985. A done deal for Seniors wanting to get there and socialize and/or maintain companionship and consume a good afternoon meal. And shelving books and then assisting after school reading. During intervals participating in discussions on anything from civil rights to The Rockland County Consortium which was an active Consortium at that time. A wonderful place to Volunteer under the Direction of Stella Marrs and Sonya Watkins.
Great place to send your kids. Very nice caring people my kids are happy abd enjoying their summer program Thank you all for your hard work and help ti the community
The food pantry at the Dr King library in SpringValley is the best thing that has to in a the community The food pantry is great and the staff is awesome . Keep up the good work that you are for the community
Very good after school and summer programs, they have a pantry system ,open all day so seniors meet and play games
