It's an expansive area with volleyball, basketball, courts, open fields, picnic areas, a playground, but clearly isn't used often or well cared for. No signage, couldn't see any of the trails listed in other Google reviews, anything that might be a trail was overgrown and had poison ivy growing around the edges. Could tell squirrels had been eating various types of vegetation on the dilapidated tables. Horseshoe pit was nothing more than a tripping hazard. Would be a nice spot to train a dog. Sledding Hill seems to be the area's primary purpose, the facilities are sad and crumbling from lack of potential and use.
Had a blast lots of trails 👣 and the river was awesome.
Great hill for the kids to sled on in the winter! Parking under the trees at bottom of the hill.
Awesome sledding down coastguard hill. I'm getting too old to walk back up so the amount of runs was limited. But I had a great time sledding with my 7 yr old.
Love the camps for the kids, affordable, simple, with a cute field trip alternating Wednesdays to the beach or bowling.
