As 1st time mom, enrolling my son in daycare for the first time was honestly one of the hardest and scariest decisions I had to make. The thought of leaving him with people I didn’t know made me so nervous. But from the moment we started here, the staff made me feel completely at ease. They are so loving, patient, and genuinely caring with the children. You can truly tell this isn’t just a job for them, they really care about every child they look after. Watching how they interact with my son and seeing how comfortable he is with his teachers means the world to me. Now when I drop him off, I feel peace instead of worry. My son loves his teachers so much and is always happy to see them, and as a parent that is the greatest feeling. I’m so grateful to have found a place where my child is cared for with so much kindness and attention. I would highly recommend this daycare to any parent who wants their child to be in a safe, loving, and supportive environment.

We’ve been part of this daycare since the beginning, and I truly cannot say enough good things about it. The staff are incredibly caring, patient, and understanding, especially when it comes to supporting children with special needs. My child absolutely loves going each day, which means everything to me as a first time mom because at his first center he cried everyday. The pictures and updates I get are also great. They even plan fun outings and activities, like the fall field trip to Linvilla Orchards that families were able to attend. I always tell people how lucky I am to have found a place that is so good for my son. I honestly can’t imagine placing my child in a large center. This place truly feels like a second family.

Our daughter F.S. And our family all adore the teaching and caregiving staff at Marshallton United Methodist. From her first day she has been so excited to go to school everyday and play and learn with her friends. We couldn’t ask for a better experience and cannot recommend this facility enough! If you are looking for a center that treats your child like family this is the place for you.

My twins gave been attending this school for over a year now and we love it here! This is a small church daycare which gives a close-knit feel. In our year at this school, staff turnover has been minimal and the current teachers are very experienced. I know when I drop my daughters off that they are in capable hands. I often receive pictures throughout the day, which allows me to see the fun things they are doing and learning. I love picking up their stacks of various arts and crafts they’ve made throughout the week. The teachers are staff are very patient, understanding, caring and communicative - they have worked with us to assist my daughters with accomplishing many things, such as potty training and managing their emotions. The teachers and staff truly go above and beyond to support the kid's development and growth. They also are very collaborative with my daughter's early years program staff (speech therapists, etc.) and the early years program staff speak highly of the Marshallton staff. My daughters are starting Kindergarten in the fall and the staff has worked hard to ensure they are Kindergarten ready. My daughter has already expressed feeling sad to leave this school when she enters Kindergarten in August. I highly recommend this center!

Sharing my personal experience... If I could rate this daycare with more than 5 stars, I truly would! My top priority is sending my children to a safe and clean environment, and this place definitely meets that standard. The staff is fully qualified, caring, and dedicated to creating personalized academic plans to help each child grow. They always consider your child's needs and keep you well-informed about their day and the projects they're working on. I also really appreciate the fun activities for both children and parents—like field trips, donuts with dad, and muffins with mom! They maintain open communication, making it easy for you to discuss your child's health, learning progress, and social skills comfortably. I love the variety of activities they offer, such as swimming, art projects, and exciting summer field trips, especially for my older daughter. The services for school-age children are a huge benefit, giving me peace of mind knowing my children are well cared for during school hours for daycare, after school, and during the summer for camp. The staff is composed of kind, understanding, and patient teachers who genuinely care about every child’s well-being.
