Marion Day Care Center

Our child has been going here for almost 2 years. We love everyone. They work with us when our child needs assistance in growing. They always are sending us updates of their day via app. They are professional and friendly. I do not feel that a 3.6 rating is fair. They are a 5 star business in my book.

I can not recommend this daycare more, they are absolutely amazing. My son went there for 2 years and since moving away he still talks about the staff regularly and how much he loves them. The teachers have all been there a long time and always seem happy and enjoy their jobs.

So, I was here—as a child—from, sometime, around the years of 2014 to 2016. During this time, I was anywhere from nine to twelve years' old, and I was very naive to how the staff here would treat me. With Marion, they—at the time—had, to the best of my knowledge, five tiers that you could be assigned to as a child. I believe this was assigned based upon your grade level—not your age but I could be wrong. When I was here, I was a "shark" (the highest level/tier), and I got demoted to a "raccoon* (this was for kids aged around 3-5 years old.) To the best of my ability, I remember I got in trouble for trading pokemon cards. If you got in trouble, and if the action you committed was severe enough, you would demoted a few ranks/tiers to spend some amount of time (usually between a few days) that you would spend at that tier; although, the entire day composed of me staring at a wall, being forced to sleep on a cot with five year olds during nap time. Now, while that's bad, it wasn't horrible. I could've maybe learned something during that time, but it wasn't abusive; however, there's something that was done to me that is pretty disturbing when I thought about it today, and it's why I'm posting this review. When I was 12-13, I was forcefully watched—by a staff member—while I used to the bathroom because I got demote—via the tier system, and I was a raccoon for the day. I remember telling them to close the door, but they said that was against the rules. I was deeply ashamed and humailted for weeks and months afterwards, and I already suffered tremendous abuse before this, at the hands of my mom, so this event really messed with me mentally at the time. Additionally, the lead director of the daycare at the time, Mrs. Deonn, told one of her staffers (our babysitter at the time) that she would be fired if she babysat for us again after we left—which is very illegal! All I'm saying here is that, you shouldn't be taking your kids here. This place needs to be under investigation rather. Anyways, that's the end of my rant for today. -Jesse

Marion Day Care is a safe and happy preschool staffed by child-friendly professionals. Children are well prepared to enter and thrive in primary school after they "graduate" from Marion. Their summer and afterschool care features field trips, additional creative and learning opportunities and the best homemade hot meals in town. Happy Grandma of 2 Marion's attendees.

This place screwed me over. Dfs had approved me for day care and this was the one I picked. Instead of billing the state of Wyoming I personally was billed and could not afford to pay it so my child was kicked out and I lost my job and had to move from my apartment back to Tennessee. 4 years later has been sitting over $400 on my credit report from a mistake that should have been fixed but still is not. I will be suing this company if they do not remove this from my name when it shouldn't be associated with my name at all.
