Maplehill Head Start

The teachers do not keep the parents updated on the negative things that occur during class time. I hear it from my child instead, about kids hitting one another. & my child was abused by another child in the classroom during playtime. I cannot make this up. D NOT SEND YOUR CHILDREN HERE. The only good thing they have is really good teaching/educational skills to teach them.

Ms. Erin is an amazing teacher!!! She deserves 5 stars. My daughter won't be returning to that school though between her being bullied and the class supervisor saying kids will be kids when her earring almost got ripped out by a little boy to kids with bad behavior teaching kids with Manors it's ok to act a fool because we don't get in trouble..like what in the world. My daughter has learned her ABCs and numbers and writing her name but the "braty" behavior because nobody is telling kids that is not cool isn't ok. I want her to learn positive not negative.

This headstart program used to be awesome, I don't know what has happened, except for covid! your child is not able to attend school due to common cold or cough...give me a break. How are they supposed to build thier immune system up?? In order for our children to be healthy individuals they need to be around each other instead of being sent home for a cold. I could see if it were a fever but it's not. We really need to sit down and evaluate what is going wrong here. We need to start thinking of the children. And with missing days because of colds and coughs if that's not enough we have missing weeks due to teachers unavailable. Smh

Teachers are great happy and always making sure the children are safe. My son has been going here for over six months and i haveent had any problems.kids are happy and learn new things and activities evertday. Recommend this school completely.
