Mana Bilingual Child Development Center

Please do not send your child to this horrible place. They are very unprofessional and disgusting people. The owner Ms. Cleo is as disgusting as they come. She has argued with me yelling me down trying to talk over me as I expressed child care concerns that were not being met. She has slandered my name and spoke ill of me to my at the time 2 year old daughter and purposefully told her things that she shouldn’t be repeating regarding me. They never gave me receipts for payments made for 6+ months then said if I wanted my receipts I would have to pay them to get the receipts. They opened late nearly every day making me late for work on several occasions. They allowed certain people to habitually drop off sick children with green and yellow snot running from their nose all day long. They also do not properly clean and disinfect children’s play areas and toys. They have cockroaches to the point where my child would see one out in public and say look mommy “la Cucaracha my teacher has those”. My child was constantly coming home with a unexplained marks and scratches, a dirty face and even a dirty diaper. I have personally witnessed these people grab a (black)child very aggressively by the arm and forcefully sit them in a chair because they were frustrated at pick up time in a way I have NEVER seen them interact with any of the other non-African American children. Not to mention my children were the only children of color at this establishment for a long period of time until recently and they were treated poorly I feel because of this. After that last incident I took my children out of their and never returned. To date I am still waiting on my receipts and medical documents I requested that Mana is holding hostage.

terrible place! If you as parents get this day care: run from this place, it is not good for your child and stay away from there.
