This is one of my favorite places on the planet. Both of my children attended this school (from ages 2-4 and 3-5 respectively) and loved it. I felt so good about dropping off my children here, I really watched them flourish and grow in their time at the school. The yard is amazing. The kids spend so much time outside in nature. The hands on learning is excellent, the kids spend time in the kitchen and sewing and gardening. The teachers guide the children's social emotional learning as well incorporating academics in an age appropriate manner. It's a special place that really embraces the children.
Preschool teachers are amazing, billing and managment are not forthcoming. They have no problem charging you for months after you cancel and give appropriate notice. Never checking where your kids are or if they are okay for multiple months. Then when you ask for a refund they say they are a church and can’t give refunds. You’ll have to take them to court. Poor communication. They took so long to talk to their billing department that I couldn’t get a refund from my bank. Sad that a church school can operate like this.
I love this pre-school so much. It is such a magical place! My daughter went here when she was 4.5, and it’s the kind of place I wish I could have attended as a kid. The teachers and staff are incredible. The playground and backyard are huge, and every plant back there is edible! Every day they decide as a class what kind of activity they want to do, from picking lemons off the lemon tree and making lemonade to playing with engineering blocks to playing with the classroom pets. What a magical place for a lucky kiddo. We will miss it and everyone there so dearly. ❤️
MMNS is a wonderful place for whole child learning with amazing teachers and dedicated staff. I have never seen another school that compares to their outdoor learning yard. It makes you feel right in the middle of nature and has allowed my kids to become strong and curious about the world. I also appreciate how their style is not too regimented and strict. The infant and toddler center is the best and I was always confident and assured that my babies were in good hands.
The best Nursery School in Malibu! MMNS came highly recommended by neighbors who have sent their kids years before. The teachers are wonderful and my 7 month old son loves going to school. I was nervous as any new mother would be, but the teachers made me feel very comfortable and Mick has learned so much already being around the other children.
