Magical Beginnings River Academy

Our two-year-old started at Magical Beginnings in September 2025. After an extensive search and many strong recommendations from those around us, we toured Magical Beginnings—and from the moment we walked through the doors, we knew it was the right fit. The center director was personable, gentle, and incredibly patient as I asked countless questions, and the facility itself is absolutely immaculate. From her very first days, our daughter was warmly welcomed into the Magical Beginnings “family.” She genuinely enjoys going to school each day, has formed wonderful relationships with both peers and staff, and has grown by leaps and bounds developmentally. The staff is highly professional, and the daily activities are engaging, thoughtful, and clearly intentional. Communication between home and school is timely and consistent, which has been invaluable in helping us reinforce language and skills at home. Our family is so incredibly happy to be part of Magical Beginnings, and we are excited to continue watching our child grow and thrive in their care.

The River Street Magical Beginnings location is absolutely amazing. My son started in September and my other child will be joining next month. The teachers and staff have all been truly delightful to work with. The two directors, Courtney and Melissa, are SO responsive and caring. They are always there to help accommodate whatever situation arises. My oldest son was delayed in speech so went through the Early Intervention program, and his EI teacher said that this school and it’s staff are the most impressive daycare that she has been in. And she has many to compare it to! I have noticed such an improvement in my son since he joined MB on River Street. He LOVES going to school and is so excited to see all of his teachers and classmates each day. I honestly feel as though every teacher and aide are truly wonderful – we have had so many positive experiences in every room he’s been! I can’t say enough good things, and feel so comfortable leaving my child in the hands of everyone there each day. Thank you MB staff for treating my son like one of your own!

We have been at Magical Beginnings for a little over two years now. We first moved our oldest there right before he turned two years old and 2 weeks before my second was born. The transition was quick as a schedule change at our old daycare was made suddenly and I panicked over so much change for him. We first met with Linda and then courtney, Amber, Laura and Erin who would be our boy’s teachers. As soon as we walked into the door there I felt comfortable. Our oldest did so well with the transition and was excited to go every day. They even accommodated last minute schedule changes when we had to stay in the hospital longer with my second.The teachers have always treated my kids like their own and my kids genuinely love going there. Every staff member is always welcoming and smiling. They’ve become family to us. I don’t know if I thank them enough for the support they give my husband and I, but we are so grateful to have found Magical. Thank you to everyone that works there but a special thank you to Courtney, Laura, Erin , Amber, Jen, Katy, Ali and Sophia! Highly recommend!

My children ages 3 and 4 now have attended daycare since River street opened. As a first time daycare parent, the teachers went above and beyond to make me feel supported, comfortable and that my kids were being treated with kindness and love. The teachers and directors are always available to discuss my kiddos day. My children are so excited when it is a school day and can't wait to tell me what they learned at school. I truly feel we are beyond lucky to have such knowledgeable, respectful, and kind teachers working with our children.

My wife and I are infinitely fortunate and forever grateful to MB for the amazing environment they provide our son to be a part of on a day-to-day basis. Their facilities are always immaculate and the current security system they utilize has always left us feeling like our son is in incredibly safe hands. We receive daily feedback and constant updates on what our son is doing in his classroom and informative recommendations on what we can do better at home to help our son progress in his speech, motor skills, and overall development as a happy, content child. Most importantly, our son works with teachers, administrators, and staff who love him dearly. Our heart melts every morning when he opens the door to his classroom and he runs over to hug his teachers with a gigantic smile beaming from ear-to-ear. MB is a special community filled with nothing but highly talented, caring, and endearing people.
