What Parents Say
Magic Memories receives consistently high praise from parents, with particular recognition for staff warmth, attentiveness, and ability to support children with special needs. Parents report significant developmental progress, smooth transitions, and a family-like environment. The center appears especially effective at helping children with autism and other special needs thrive.
We were at our breaking point. Our son, who has autism, was severely regressing at his old preschool. After a summer packed with therapy, he was disruptively stimming, having accidents, and shutting down. We were ready to pull him out and just give up. Then we toured Magic Memories. The 'magic' was instant. Our son, who typically struggles to connect, was engaging with other children and felt so safe he was sitting on the assistant director’s lap. We knew we had to make it work. The results in just one month are nothing short of miraculous. His expressive language has exploded. His therapists are floored, calling his progress 'amazing.' He’s gone from playing near kids to playing with them, making real friends, and even trying new foods! We used to dread drop-off. Now, we leave feeling confident and excited, eagerly awaiting the photo updates. Magic Memories has been absolutely life-changing for our son and for us.
Our girls have been attending Magic Memories since 2021. Our oldest daughter is now in her last year before kindergarten and our youngest is in her second year. Our experience has been so wonderful. The staff is very attentive and caring. Their teachers are always updating me on their day and have gone out of thier way to make my girls feel so loved and special (such as making a care package for an upcoming surgery). My girls love not just their teachers, but the whole staff. The directors are so sweet and easy to communicate with. It is such a relief to know they are well cared for, happy, and safe while we work full time. Even though this location is a 30 minute drive for us since my husband now works remotely, we have decided the drive is worth it, as we can’t imagine our girls having this same experience anywhere else!
My daughter started Magic Memories in August. She not only transitioned so quick and easy to the change in schools but has fallen in love with her teachers (shout out to Miss Olivia and Miss Arianna). I am so grateful to be sending our kid to a place that she is learning so much and is so loved by all the teachers there- they even cater to her egg and dairy allergies! Every single staff member is friendly and engaging. I can’t recommend Magic Memories enough!
My husband and I toured the school a couple of weeks ago and really liked it. Everyone we met there was super friendly and everyone seemed very focused on the kids. As first time parents we are very nervous about putting our son in daycare but felt like this could be a perfect fit. We paid $75 to be placed on their waiting list. I filled out the forms before our tour so I called to confirm the information I submitted was accurate. This was the day following the tour. I left a voicemail and asked for a call back. 24 hours later I still had not received a call, so I submitted a request for a call back using their app. Another 24 hours passed, I called again and left a message. My husband also sent an email with no response. Finally total of 1 week later, with no response from anyone there, i called again and got them on the phone. They said they believed there was full time availability but had to check with the director who was on lunch but would be back shortly and they would call me right back. 2 1/2 hours later, with no call, I had my husband call. The director confirmed they had the availability and were sending over all the paperwork for us to fill out and submit. Here we are almost 5 days later and nothing has been sent. For an establishment that seemed so well run and put together, this is so disappointing. If you cannot communicate with the parents effectively and follow through on commitments made, why would you expect parents to entrust you with their children? This facility was highly recommended by so many parents I spoke with. I would never have imagined we would be treated this way. I hope other parents trying to set up first time day care for their children are treated better than we were.
After a terrible experience with another daycare we came to magic memories. They have truly felt like family. The director Ashley is warm and welcoming. It has been the best decision I’ve made for care for my kids. Miss Cait has been wonderful with my special needs son. Her patience and kindness are next level! Even my older girls loved summer camp and can’t wait to come back and make new memories with friends! Thank you for all you do!
