I can’t say enough amazing things about this school. This was our first year with my 2 and 4 year old attending. They had previously been on post for preschool 1/2 days and my 4 year old was crying on the way to school daily. My 2 year old would shut down and refuse to talk at school. They were so unhappy I pulled them thinking staying home with me was the only option. I decided to give preschool one more shot and they are now ecstatic to go to school! Every single teacher in the school (not just their classrooms) greats them by name in the hallway. They are loved and encouraged. The school is safe and the teachers are always in control. They are focused on bringing out the best in each child, not forcing the child to fit into a mold. I honestly could go on and on giving each teacher a specific compliment but Maggie runs a great place and we feel blessed that our children were able to flourish there.
My three and a half year old is thriving at MMS! Previous experiences right before she turned two were nothing like this.My daughter actually likes to go to school.She likes her teachers and, I feel like she is actually getting to be a child in a very stimulating environment.We have worked on our alphabet, counting, and writing at home for a long while and, though she is in pre-school and their curriculum is different from the Pre-K, I feel like they are supporting me while supporting her by helping build her confidence with me.They really are a great school.We are very happy with MMS.
Wow! I am so over impressed with this place. I can’t believe the bogus reviews that really don’t say anything... Yes they are strict about drop off times because they keep the kids on a schedule. If you give them 24hour notice they will allow your child back with a doctors note (I.e. I had to take my son for his 6 month check up). I have dropped in senevral times to pick my son up early and never seen anything but happy employees and happy children. I have been to other day cares that are pure chaos, that is not this place. I 100 percent have confidence in the safety and well-being of my child while in their care. Plus you can’t ask for a better rate on full time child care. If my opinion ever changes be sure I will update my review. But we have been here over a month now and I love everything about this place.
Love Maggie's Morning School, they teach almost like a Montessori Curriculum - no tv, lots of fresh air, hands on and lots of learning! After your child "graduates" from Maggies, try to get them in Coastal Empire Montessori Charter - a great next step.
