This is a great facility. There are at least 4 different aid agencies housed in this converted school. I can't name all the other services and help that they provide. Check out the web site for a full list of services and agencies. If you plan to visit this location to get assistance, be aware that some of the agencies require an appointment, and they all have specific requirements and criteria for aid, it is a very good idea to call ahead to each agency individually to have a clear idea if they can help you, and o be sure that you take everything you need -- and have an appointment if necessary. Be patient and expect that you might have to wait on the phone, wait for a call back, or call again at another time. These people a working very hard to help as many people as they can, but there are only a few of them to help everyone who needs it, and they have limited resources. If you need help preparing our taxes, they do that here too, from February through April 15th every year.
The ladies in the food pantry were awesome! Very caring and wonderful.. I would recommend to ayone down on their luck because they don't make you needy!
