What Parents Say
This is not a daycare center—it is the Las Vegas Valley Water District (LVVWD), a public utility company. The reviews reflect customer experiences with water service and billing, not childcare services.
Commenting on a business perspective; absolutely no sense of urgency, had a recent water flow emergency at one of my properties and the emergency line had me on hold for 2 hours. How do you claim to be "Responsive & Efficient" when I couldn't get a hold of any tech for 2 hours while I had water pouring all over the property.
They are the worst we have been battling for days and a couple of weeks. They changed out my son‘s meter on his house in December and from there the water bill significantly went and went up. They didn’t wanna come out and check it. They said hi a plumber so we hired a plumber to check for leaks. There’s none visible the plumber. Said he cannot even check because when he ran the water. The meter was not putting numbers so the meter is all over the place, but they refused to come look at the broken meter and say their meters don’t break. I explained to them everything breaks and they installed a faulty meter I can’t get them to come change it out. They are horrible. I’m not sure what my next step is councilwoman councilman I guess.
Whomever purchases the water program be warned. The American Water Resources is waste. They take your money, don't provide any services then when you terminate they try to steal your money. BofA warned me and actually closed my account to stop them. The inconveniences don't stop. It's like making a deal with the devil. Buyer BEWARE!
The Las Vegas Valley Water District really needs to modernize both its customer portal and its customer service. When I log in to the website, I can only see daily water-use data for the current month, and even then, only one week at a time. There’s no access to daily readings from previous months — just monthly totals, which makes it nearly impossible to track usage trends or identify when spikes occur. This data already exists; it’s simply not being displayed. It would take minimal programming effort to make past readings accessible or downloadable. To make things worse, the system automatically logs users out after just three minutes of inactivity. This isn’t a banking site — there’s no reason for such a short timeout when customers are just trying to review their own water data. If that weren’t enough, reaching customer support by phone can take 30 to 35 minutes or longer, and there’s no email or online support ticket system. In 2025, that’s unacceptable for a public utility. Having an email-based ticket system would be far more efficient and would save both customers and staff a lot of time. For an organization that can charge customers thousands of dollars in water bills, you’d expect a much better, more modern experience. Other utilities offer full data access, alert customers automatically about unusual usage, and provide responsive, multi-channel support. LVVWD should be doing the same — especially in a desert city that promotes water conservation. It’s frustrating to see such an important public service operating with outdated systems and limited customer accessibility. The District could do much better with a modest investment in technology and customer care. I had a severe, very complicated leak at my property that took three months to figure it out. It wasn't irrigation, it wasn't the pool, it was a deep underground line that there was no easy fix for. Even the leak detector companies could not find it, and this cost me more than the actual repair. The actual usage was over $4,000. This company is making money hand over fist with residents in the valley, and don't provide adequate assistance or tools to help owners.
Watch your bill for this year(2026). They're adding extra charges to previously fully paid months. I'd suggest printing out your old bills, before they go erasing it.
