I sent my son to this daycare because I went here as a child. Everything was going fine for about 7 months until they “noticed” the Mongolian spots that have been on his body the entire time and called CPS on me after I told them what the marks were. I had to go to his pediatrician and get documentation stating all marks he has on his body. Which could have been done for her without CPS being involved. I had just moved and was by no means ready for a home visit but had to accommodate. Her first concern when she seen that I was upset was whether or not I was pulling my son. After she realized I was pulling him, she no longer wanted to talk at all and hid in the office. She told me that her providers called CPS after she left. However the providers said that they brought it to her attention and she took it from there. So I couldn’t even get a straight story from them as to how this happened. Yes Mongolian spots could be mistaken for bruises but how do you not notice these marks for over 7 months??? This is a small center, they should know each of their kids well. It rubs me the wrong way that she would call CPS on me knowing I’m a perfectly fit mother. She’s been a foster mom my entire life (again I went here as a child) and it almost makes me think there was some ulterior motive behind her actions. I mean she made weird comments on more than one occasion about how she wanted to “take him home with her” but in a cutesy way. It’s all very upsetting looking back and even months later I still don’t understand how everything escalated so quickly. I thought I had a good relationship with the people caring for my son. I was wrong. Deal with Joyce Gladden and her providers at your own risk.

My kids went there until they were old enough not to both children graduate high school and ms donna was in the audience for both cheering loudly they raised my kids just like their own(the other mothers!)
