Luv-N-Care Child Development Center

Luv & Care has been a blessing and an incredible experience for my son and I. First I want to say the center director Mrs. Cynthia is amazing she is very kind and professional every concern I've had she has addressed and eased my mind I 100% trust the staff with my son. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about this facility. Mrs. Mary Ann and Mrs. Jojo are exceptional caregivers who go above and beyond every single day. Their patience, kindness, and genuine love for the children are evident in everything they do. They take the time to understand each child’s needs and make sure every child feels safe, valued, and supported. The after-school daycare and summer camp programs are well-organized, engaging, and thoughtfully planned. The children stay active, involved, and excited through a variety of fun and educational activities. For summer camp they are constantly taking the kids on trips every week movies, water parks golfing etc also during summer camp they have their own pool so the kids go swimming every day and they do have a life guard on duty. My child always looks forward to attending and comes home happy, confident, and full of positive stories about his day. What truly sets Luv & Care apart is the strong sense of trust and communication. Mrs. Mary Ann and Mrs. Jojo keep parents informed and are always approachable, which gives me complete peace of mind. Knowing my child is in such a nurturing, structured, and loving environment means everything to me. I am extremely grateful for the care they provide and would highly recommend Luv & Care to any parent seeking reliable, high-quality after-school care and summer camp.

If you are looking for a calm, educational, and appropriately stimulating child development center for your child, I would not recommend this facility. During my time here, I observed a high turnover of staff and inconsistent communication from administration. On more than one occasion, I personally witnessed administrative staff making unprofessional comments about employees to parents — including remarks implying that some staff left after tax season because they "didn't want to work." This behavior was concerning and did not reflect the level of professionalism I expect from leadership in a childcare setting. In addition, staff often struggled to appropriately teach and reinforce classroom rules or redirect children effectively. My child, who does have some behavioral challenges, was not being supported in a constructive or consistent way. Instead of collaborating on strategies or using positive behavioral methods, I was frequently asked to pick him up from school — sometimes two to three times per week — which made it very difficult to maintain stable employment. As a parent, I am simply looking for a provider who will keep my child safe, supported, and engaged while I am at work. Unfortunately, the lack of structure and leadership here made that impossible. I do want to acknowledge that several of the teachers in the younger classrooms were caring, patient, and genuinely invested in their students. I’m deeply grateful for their efforts despite the poor example set by management. Sadly, given the constant turnover, I’m unsure how many of those wonderful teachers are still there. Overall, this center needs significant improvement in leadership, communication, and behavioral support before it could meet the standards of a quality early childhood program. Based on my experience, I do not believe it currently meets the standards expected of a Texas Rising Star facility.

As a first time mom, I was hesitant on any day care. This location has amazing teachers and consistent staff. I do appreciate the care from the director, assistant director, staff, and the teachers taking care of my twins. I do recommend this Luv n care on Gathering oak for your day care needs.

Luv-n-Care was a great daycare for my son and nephew. Unlike other places with frequent staff changes, their consistent caregivers created a stable, caring environment, which really helped my boys feel secure. They loved fun activities like storytime and outdoor play, which helped them grow socially and physically. The center was clean, with healthy snacks and a solid routine. Their updates on my kids’ day were super helpful. Luv-n-Care got my boys ready for Pre-K, and I highly recommend them!
