"Sir we would see Jesus" is on the wall. Every time I enter the building that sentence rings true. The holy scriptures are preached and taught in such a way that brings out understanding ,revelation and a longing for even more of Jesus.
never even been here but i love that the pastor had the guts to denounce trump. as jesus says, it is easier for a camel to pass through the eye of a needle than for a rich man to enter heaven, and that nasty man and his supporters have no place in a church of christ.
It is disturbing that a Man of God can not show compassion to others. Obviously you may preach about Jesus but do not know the true meaning of the scriptures. Churches wonder why they are losing their memberships and based on what Fudge read, I can understand when people say "why go to church, when they act no different then the people in the streets". Pastor, you may had a moment of weakness and didn't expect her to read your letter to the world but now they see you and your church in a different light and it is not good. Church should welcome anybody regardless of their political views and not be classify as *dumb* bc they have a different opinion. Churches should be a place of refuge and saving souls not wading into politics. You had a perfect opportunity to show the love of Christ but chose to show hate. Why are you preaching every Sunday? What is your purpose on this earth? How do you want people to remember you and your church? As a church that loves everybody or a church that only loves people who vote Democrat? Jesus loved those who abused him. President Trump and all our Government Leaders need prayer but I wouldn't want you praying bc you need to search your heart and ask for forgiveness. . What you do in the dark shall come to light. I am a registered Democrat and didnt vote for Trump in 2016 but DEFINITELY will in 2020. I plan to vote for someone who has reduced unemployment and improved the economy. I am an educated African American female who has a mind of her own and do not bend to the *plantation* mindset.
Agree with what others are saying about you and your church. The bible teaches us tp pray for our rulers, no matter who they are. Hope your congregation doesn't think & feel the same because almost 50% of Americans voted for Trump.
Shame on you Pastor Ron. Your statements regarding the President and his supporters are not becoming of a Christ follower. You have reflected Christ poorly in this event. I say this as someone that does not support the president's behavior.
