My son has been discriminated against by this facility. He has ADHD and in the state of Virginia that's considered a disability. Every daycare center has to accommodate to kids with disabilities. I was told by one of the staff members and director that they DO NOT have the staff or education to deal with kids with disabilities. That's considered discrimination. The director knew beforehand my son has ADHD but still accepted him anyways. They have singled out my son since day one, mainly the van driver. My son only has an issue with hitting and I told the director that as well and that we are doing our best to correct that, so she knew beforehand about this too. Once he started there, they have told me daily that he was really bad and said so many crazy untrue things about my son like him being a biter when he has never bit anyone in his life!!!! And when the child they questioned admitted my son never bit him they tried to say oh it was someone else when they were so sure it was the child in question. They don't have cameras. They basically called me a liar about my child when I my child had never done these horrendous things they claim he did!!! He has never acted like this in his life but all of a sudden he does once he started here?! The behaviors they claim he does we don't see at home, his teacher doesn't see at school, or we don't see in public like parks and gatherings just this facility. The director questioned if i was his mother, automatically assumed he was autistic when he isn't. This place will discriminate against kids with disabilities and try their hardest to kick them out!!!!! My son has never been a safety issues for others!!!!! This place has scarred us especially my son!!!! DO NOT bring your child here if they have a disability!!!!! I'm disgusted at the treatment my son and I have received from this place!!!!
My son has been attending the Love and Learn center since he was 1yrs old he is now 4yrs old and he loves it. They are very attentive to every child and the daily activities are the best. My son has learned so much from them he started doing his lessons with the 4 year old class while he was just 3 years old. The staff is GREAT I love everyone of them.
Three of my five grandchildren attend this daycare and I absolutely LOVE IT! Friendly staff, if you have questions they get back to you asap. Clean facility where some other daycares smell of excessive bleach/cleaning solutions.
Love it teachers have great attitudes and awsome bonds with the kids. Ms. Pam the director is the best you will love her!!
