What Parents Say
These reviews appear to be for a technical college rather than a child development daycare center. Reviews are mixed, with praise for instructors and programs, but significant complaints about administrative staff, enrollment processes, and course delivery issues.
Tried giving this school a chance more than once and kept getting the runaround. I should’ve been in the nursing program by this fall, but for whatever odd reason they said I had to wait until spring 2025 to apply for classes and on top of that, they keep trying to get me to take the associates degree route, which I told them I wanted to do the technical diploma route since I would not have to retake my accuplacer for the TD. Not sure what their agenda is with that, but I’m pretty much done with this school (which is sad because I heard a lot of good things about their nursing program) and the nonsense they keep presenting.
So far attending this school has been one of the increasingly worst decisions I've made, and my course isn't even over yet. My teacher quits for a better position else where, and if that doesn't say something about the school then the fact that after several months, they fail to find a replacement, and proceed just move the classes to online even though there's supposed to be a hands on portion to the classes. Then I get an email saying I have 3 days to make a payment or I will be removed from the course even though I was previously told my FAFSA had covered everything. Making the payment is no big deal, I needed to finish the course, but with only 3 days of notice!!!??? That is crazy to me. But, another question I have if I'm not even getting the hands on experience that is essentially THE ONLY REASON I decided to take the course, then why am taking this class anymore let alone paying for it myself now? If here is no legitimate teacher or education why am I taking this class? It has been nothing but one problem after another. To the point it feels like they are trying to force students out of the course instead of actually assisting them.
I graduated with a 4.0GPA in IT from this school. The teachers are amazing, the staff is terrible. People in the office either sleep at the desk, have no idea what to do, or just be there for a paycheck. Never in my life have I had to deal with the office for their shortcomings in my life like I have here.
I’m extremely honored to be a graduate of NWLTC. The skills I learned and the people I met along the way helped make me the Chef I am today. I would like to see the Culinary Arts Program take off and produce more chefs, as well as do more community outreach and let others know who we are. I’m committed to helping in any way I can. They're only after your money. They have a habit of having students repeat the program over again. The instructors lecture on one topic and then test on another.
