Los Feliz Nursery School is the best preschool! Both my children attended and we have built lasting relationships with other families. The community is strong since it's a co-op - parents and caregivers volunteer their time to help the school operate smoothly. The leadership is both extremely consistent and caring. The curriculum is not academic but it is organized and focuses on fairness and communication during play. We have so many fond memories we look back on from our time here - it is truly recommended as the best preschool in Los Feliz!
LFNS has been a great experience for both of my children! My kids loved their teachers and made huge strides in their social-emotional learning. The coop model definitely requires more parental involvement, but is totally worth it. Having a larger role in my children's early education has been a fulfilling experience. I feel that our family is better prepared for elementary school as a result of our time with LFNS!
This is such a special school, and I consider our family lucky to have been here for 2 years. Our very shy daughter bloomed here, making friends, enjoying free play, and learning to think creatively. Being part of a co-op is definitely a commitment, but invaluable—in exchange for our time, we not only got more affordable tuition, but we established a support system here in LA, thanks to all the fantastic families we met. If you’re looking for an amazing preschool, and you want to be involved in your kiddo's education, do yourself a favor and check it out!
We love LFNS! Both of my children attended preschool there and had wonderful experiences! The environment is welcoming, fun and engaging. The teachers are phenomenal. Highly recommend!
