LHMS is a wonderful school! My daughter had a hard time adjusting to preschool since it was all new to her, but the teachers and school leaders made her feel safe, nurtured, and important. A year later, she is all smiles before and after school and proudly tells me about what she’s learning in her Kindergarten group on the way home. I am so glad she has started her learning journey at LHMS—and she’s so proud to be part of the lovely little community they have built! :)
My daughter has been going to Longhill Montessori School (LHMS) for 3 years now. During that time the teachers and curriculum have made a big difference in her confidence and education. She is now in the kindergarten program, and I love seeing her start to read. I highly recommend this school.

My daughter attended Long Hill Montessori School from January 2011 to June 2013. She was welcomed into a warm and nurturing environment and thrived. I now send my 3 1/2 year old son to LHMS and although the ownership of the school has changed, the environment is still as nurturing and welcoming as it was back in the years my daughter attended. The teachers and staff live the Montessori spirit and encourage independence. Bravo.
As an educator, it was important to me that my children attend a school that embraced a rich curriculum. As a mom, I sought a nurturing environment that my children would flourish in. After evaluating several area schools, I discovered that Long Hill Montessori School offered these qualities and more. My son has grown tremendously over the past two years there and my daughter is excited to join her brother in September. The LHMS community is more than a group of preschool parents. During our tenure at the school we have enjoyed participating in school, community service and social events. The network and friendships that our family has developed as a result of being part of the Montessori family have proven to be an invaluable bonus to establishing our roots in the area. The leadership at the school is truly outstanding. The teachers are not only caring and compassionate; they are devoted to the growth and development my children. Directors Fiona Rouse and Kelly Legiec are not only owners but also compassionate educators and it has been such a pleasure to work with them. My husband and look forward to watching our children continue to grow both socially and academically at Long Hill Montessori School.
