Everyone who greeted us today upon entering this church was very very welcoming and hospitable, unfortunately we were met with a very inappropriate experience from the pastor. Early on into the sermon the pastor took a very political stance and even self acknowledged it with admittedly humorous remarks, however it progressed further into a speech about topics of current United States immigration issues and policies and a tangent about “Bad Bunny”. In my pursuit of spiritual connection and learnedness I do not believe that a lecture about how the pastor personally feels about current modern political issues is at all reflective of the Bible, and is a personal modern perversion and intentional self interpretation of words that are far more timeless than that of today’s climate. And after a particularly uncomfortable moment was reached by one of my fellow first time goers, they silently excused themselves out of the pulpit. The pastor even went so far as to remark upon their exodus and even made an inappropriate joke at their expense. Behavior like that is far and away from what I would hope to expect from a “spiritual leader”. We came into this church after a long congregational hiatus hoping to find the word and teachings of Christ, and yet we found personal ideologic rhetoric and humiliation. The people I met today, I Believe were good, but the message that was spread I Know was not.
Yes, it is a big church, but you will find it holds a lot of love! You won’t get lost in the crowd. There are so many friendly faces ready to greet you, and help you navigate when you come in. I highly recommend you check out some of the small groups, and get involved with one. Love my church family! ❤️
The Awana program is really good and the leaders are nice and supportive. The Sunday service is well preached and informative.
This is the place you can grow you and your families relationship with the Lord. They have a great group of people who will help you with anything. My kids absolutely love it here. We are blessed to have found home here.
I absolutely love this church! From the moment I walked in everyone was super friendly. We were connected to a small group that feeds the soul more then any other church I have ever attended. The classes are so friendly that we were invited to lunch that very same day by some of our class mates who have ended up becoming some of our closest friends. The sermons build upon each other but also review enough that you never feel lost or out of place because others know more then you. This is the best church I have participated in and I sincerely feel the presents of God in this church.
