Awesome. The School District is doing its best to help every learner reach their full potential but know as well that it takes a whole village to educate a child which means that it’s not just the job of the school district (teachers and other learning facilitators) but most importantly, parents/ guardians play a vital role. Education starts at home so there has to be a teamwork, unity and cooperation among the people involve in the child’s learning process. Let’s work as a TEAM! Together Everyone Achieve More
This school district is a complete waste of taxpayer money. Student test scores are at, or near, the bottom compared to the rest of Alaska's school districts. The district office is corrupt and does not care about the students. The only thing they care about is fattening their pockets with money. The schools are in violation of numerous fire codes. Site administrators are incompetent, as is most of the teaching staff. It is sad for the villagers who have to send their children to school to be taught by incompetent teachers who are supervised by corrupt administrators.
Everyone from the Superintendent down I have contacted is responsive and shows tht they care about students
Never go to theese schools again.
