Our daughter has gone here for two years now as part of the preschool and daycare. She has loved her time here! Her teachers are so kind, plan meaningful learning experiences and lessons, and they do so many fun activities. They have great meals and snacks that are healthy. The staff really care about their students! My daughter is kindergarten ready, and as a teacher myself, I have had total confidence in the curriculum they teach at this center. I definitely recommend this site!
My son has been going to this daycare for almost a year now. He started going when he was 7 months old. The teachers are wonderful with him. I would go see him on my lunch break & I was able to see how great the teachers are with the kids. The kids are always happy, you almost never hear a baby crying, which is impressive when there are taking care of 8 babies. They switch out the toys so the kids don't get bored. They feed them healthy meals and snacks. I highly recommend this daycare.
My daughter has been attending Little Wonders West since it opened in 2017. At first it was just a matter of convenience since she could walk there after school and it was only a block from our home. Now after 2 years we feel like it is family and my daughter loves it. My daughter is the oldest child at Little Wonders. The staff has been good to find things to entertain her and let her "help" with things around the office. During the summer they have a great program for the school age kids that keeps them busy with a different activity everyday. She has gone on field trips to the aquarium, dinosaur museum, every splash pad in the valley and many other things she wouldn't have gotten to do during the summer since her dad and I both work full time. Whenever I have had an issue with an interaction between my daughter and another child or teacher I have spoken to the office staff and they have immediately taken care of the problem. I do feel that their first priority is the happiness of my daughter. They are also very patient in listening to my concerns and suggestions on changes that might help my daughter have a good experience there everyday. We will be sad when my daughter is too old to attend Little Wonders West. It has been a great experience for us.
I love this place and so does my 3-year-old! My child has been attending Little Wonders West for about 6 months and she loves it. She is always asking me if she can go to "school," even on days she doesn't normally attend. The teachers are very nice and patient with the children. My child was having a difficult time taking a nap there (during which the kids are provided with a little cot, pillow, and blanket) and her teachers were always asking me for tips that I use at home to get her to sleep. They were worried about how not having a nap might affect her mood at home. They were patient with her and helped her get used to napping there. The teachers are so sweet with all of the kids! I love that they have scheduled learning activities into the day. Their schedule, lesson plans, meals, and snacks are posted so that I can remain informed about what my child is doing while I am gone. I love that they eat healthy meals and snacks and that the kids are expected and taught to sit still and eat with the class. My daughter has had a few accidents at school and the teachers have been so good with her. LW provides kids who have had accidents with a pair of underwear and pants they can use so they can continue to participate during the day. Anytime I have concerns about how my daughter is interacting with the other kids or about her behavior in class, the teachers are always ready and willing to talk with me. They are honest and encouraging with their feedback which is nice. There are cameras in every room which I think is a great way to monitor the classroom. Once, my daughter received a black eye while playing outside. The teachers were open and honest about what happened and answered all of my questions. There was another time when she tripped and bumped her head on the table. There wasn't a bruise or scar, but the teachers still made sure I was aware of what happened. I really appreciated that. I feel completely safe and happy leaving my child at Little Wonders West while I attend school. She loves it there and I am grateful to the staff and teachers for making it a positive experience for her.
I was so nervous to take my daughter to daycare. The first two weeks were full of tears, from both of us, every time I dropped her off. But when I would pick her up it took coaxing to get her to leave! I felt supported by the staff on those hard mornings and throughout the day! Teachers from other classes and the director know my daughter's name. When I pick up and drop off we're greeted with friendly smiles. It's clean, efficient, and the teachers are INCREDIBLE. I couldn't say nicer things about the toddler class teachers!!! My daughter now gets excited to go everyday and sometimes doesn't want to leave. Naps were a struggle at first but now she is doing great with that too. I feel so confident leaving my daughter with them and would highly recommend it.
