The director of This place locked my 2 y.o.grandson in an infant high chair in an infant classroom with no staff because he slapped a teacher when she picked him up. This is abusive and illegal. When my daughter asked about working out some better behavior plan she was kicked out and handed the babies' belongings. Even if this child was a holy terror which he is not that is no way to treat a working family who depends on reputable child care. Don't believe anything this director promises and don't trust your babies to their care.

This facility is a lot different than it was 9 years ago when my oldest grandson attended. My youngest grandson who is 2 started here last summer and it has been one thing after another with this place. His parents have been called multiple times to pick him up due to either hitting, kicking or biting the teacher. Also, for coughing or runny nose and would not allow him back till he went to the doctor and was tested for everything. Each and every time he went to the doctor there was nothing wrong with him and the doctor questioned why he was even there. One particular morning they were called early to come get him because he was coughing and he was taken to his doctor with nothing wrong, so they called the facility back gave them this information and asked to bring him back. They were told no and to wait till the next day. Come to find out she was short 2 staff members. So a days work missed, a day paid to the facility and him not there at her request. At one point the director requested anger therapy for this 2 year old, after speaking with his doctor, they could not figure out what this facility was wanting as all the behaviors were typical 2 year old behaviors and to focus on what the situation was leading up to him either hitting, kicking or trying to bite. That was not mentioned anymore about the therapy or behavior plan. Recently the issues were him playing with a stick acting like it was a gun..he is a boy playing like little boys play. Then this week parents were called to pick up because he was hitting and biting the teacher. My husband got there to get him and director didn't realize he was in there and heard her telling our grandson "if you hadn't been so combative you would be outside playing" all other kids were outside. Now what 2 year old would understand or even remotely comprehend what she was even talking about. All he knew was he wasn't allowed to play outside. What should have happened was a age appropriate time out done then it was completed and he should have been allowed to continue on with all the other kids. But no, she singled him out and punished him beyond his age and comprehension level. My husband got him and left. Started potty training a couple weeks ago and this didn't go well there either, because he was having accidents they requested he go back to pullups. We have been having success at home, with accidents of course, but you have to remind a child every 30 minutes or so go to the potty, I doubt very seriously if this was happening, especially with her issues of always having staff shortages. Needless to say he was pulled this week and won't be back. The other reviews on here about the 2 year old being placed in a highchair or room by themselves, I don't doubt for 1 minute it happened. I don't usually do reviews on places unless it is really bad but people place their children in facilities like this and expect them to follow all guidelines and requirements for childcare facilities and to provide a safe, nourishing and positive place, not one that can't handle normal age appropriate behaviors and handle these behaviors in the normal age appropriate way. If a child doesn't feel safe or cared about, but neglected or picked on they will of course act out, adults do the same thing.

This place was honestly unpleasant from the time my son started until I had to pull him out. Peggy (the owner) was rude and snobby and if you wasn’t one of the parents who’s well off in cash and wasn’t forking money out to them then your child was getting mistreated. Having to pick my son up every single week is an understatement, I had to pick him up for a runny nose, his “temper” which may I add my child was never a mean kid but when you’re surrounded by women who act like children themselves you’re bound to act up. There is numerous things I had to go pick my child up for and I could not bring him back until a doctor signed off on it and every time I took him to the dr they questioned whether or not the daycare should be examined in their care. They had called me to pick him up because of his temper and Peggy didn’t see me come in and she was screaming at my child and once she noticed I was there she pulled him up from his chair and said ITS TIME FOR YOU TO GET OUT OF HERE, remind you my child was only 2 years old not comprehending why he was getting mistreated. He came home with bite marks and bruises on his arms and legs. He would scream because he didn’t want to go with them in the mornings and I can see why now. Parents don’t let your children attend this horrible place, there are better options than this. It saddens me to know that the kids attending this daycare are getting mistreated to for doing nothing but being kids.

Little Wonders Daycare is an awful facility that needs to be SHUT DOWN! Friends and Family have reported countless situations and state violations. Firstly, They have several toxic chemicals in plants in areas that are accessible to the children. One family has experienced unexplained bruises on their infant after witnessing an unsupervised 8 month old place their entire body wait on their two month old months prior. Nothing was done and no one took the situation seriously. Here recently a family was called in to due to unfounded behavioral problems only to be told that the director had restrained their toddler in a highchair by himself in the infant room. Not only has this been traumatizing to the toddler but it begs the question... WHO IS WATCHING THE INFANTS if no one is in the room?? Additionally, concerned parents asking for a behavioral plan as opposed to physical restraint of their child are met with being kicked out. Now wonder this place does not have cameras!

I absolutely love this daycare. When my child says he wants to go back to daycare to play, makes me feel like they are doing something right. I love the staff. They are all so wonderful and my children adore them. Peggy and Stephanie are wonderful people. Very easy to work with. I'm so glad I know that my kids are being well took care of during the day while i'm working.
