What Parents Say
Little Village Childcare & Learning Center receives overwhelmingly positive feedback from most parents, who praise the caring staff, welcoming environment, and structured curriculum. However, two parents reported serious concerns including dietary restrictions not being honored, health issues, and poor sanitation practices.
We absolutely love Little Village Learning Center and could not be happier with the high-quality childcare they provide to my grandson daily. They were highly recommended by a coworker, and they managed to exceed all our expectations. Every morning, my grandson is greeted with a smile and a welcoming hug. They have art projects and events throughout the year, in which my grandson participates and enjoys. He looks forward to going to Little Village Learning Center every morning to spend time with his friends and the teachers, who are highly professional and care about all the children. They are wonderful people and wonderful daycare providers, and we couldn’t be happier that they’ve become part of our extended family. They provide a balance of exciting outdoor activities, crafts, and a structured preschool curriculum, creating the ideal learning and caring atmosphere. The administration is professional and concerned about all children and parents. I would strongly recommend this daycare.
Highly recommended! This is a wonderful daycare with amazing and caring teachers. As a parent it’s hard to find a place you feel comfortable taking your kids everyday and little village is that place. Safety is priority and the caregivers are incredible. We are very appreciative to all they do for our daughter.
I recently began taking my baby boy to Little Village Daycare Center and have nothing but positive things to say about it. Graciela, the staff (Lissette) and teachers are very caring and welcoming. The facility is clean and you can tell they take pride in providing a learning environment for the kids. I highly recommend Little Village to anyone looking for a daycare for their little ones.
This is for all the first time moms And all moms. Honestly I’ve been more than patient with this daycare and I’ve had absolutely enough. One day I packed my daughter milk without puree due to being out late the night prior and not having time to make her some. the daycare called asking if it was okay to give her food from there I said yes. After that I continued to pack her food, the daycare would send the food right back and continued to give her their food. My daughter ended up getting very sick vomiting uncontrollably and had trouble pooping. I spent an entire night a Nicholas childrens bc of this. I kindly asked if they would continue giving her food from home as the food she was eating there wasn’t setting well in her tummy. The same day they did it again. The day after that my father dropped off my daughter a daycare and kindly asked them again, that same day the food I packed was sent home and the paper read she ate food given by them to her. I then called the daycare in regards to this where they refused to give her the food from home because “if inspectors come and see that they are not eating the food from are list, we get in trouble.” Also stating that she is with the bigger kids as she is 12 months old in which was said to me multiple times. My daughter is 11 months old. Not 12. Which has been stated more then once. They said I only pack puree and she needs solids in which I reply she does eat solids at home but she eats puree once a day bc she is slowly being moved into solid foods. Due to them denying the right I have as her mom to bring her food from home, I told them I will have the doctor sign off a paper that she will only be allowed to eat food from home. They said ok and gave me the paper. The next day while I’m at work they tell me to come pick her up because she has diarrhea which makes sense bc she couldn’t poop for 2 days from the food she was eating. Anyways, I work in a doctors office and we close the same time her pediatricians office does. The doctor said she would fax the paper with her signature over to them so they can print it out. It was sent. I called the daycare letting them know it was sent over in which they refused to even except it because it wasn’t in paper form. I let them know the doctor sent it over that way due to not being able to pick it up and bring it to them. She did not sign the paper physically she signed it electronically, it just needs to be printed. The doctor said herself that they shouldn’t refuse food from home. Especially if it’s upsetting her stomach. I told the daycare I don’t understand why there’s always an issue. The director then replied “then find her another daycare” yeah the director. Says a lot. After saying that she hung up on me. She then called me back asking for the payment I said okay and asked that she has all my daughter papers ready during pick up so that I can enroll her in another daycare. She told me that she wasn’t going to give me the papers if the payment was not done. Mind you daycare was closed Monday and it’s Wednesday. This is probably the worse daycare to enroll ur child in. If you want to put your child in daycare. Don’t choose this one.
Absolutely love this place! The staff is so kind and caring, and my child looks forward to going every day. It’s such a warm and happy environment where kids really thrive. Highly recommend to any parent!
