Little Tree Education Center

We have had such a wonderful experience at Little Tree in Madbury. Both of my boys have gone there and my youngest is now in his final year at LTE. The teachers and staff are incredible. They are all so kind, patient and caring. We love how they incorporate lots of outdoor play, music, geography, language and reading into their day-to-day. They really enable the children to learn but also be independent, which is great! I feel a sense of comfort and safety when my son is at Little Tree! Highly recommend!

We’ve been a Little Tree family since 2018 and we love it there! Our two oldest attended LTE and our third child is attending now. The teachers are the kindest, sweetest, most gentle humans you’ll meet. I drop him off every morning, confident he’s getting amazing care and education. We’re thrilled with our experience at Little Tree over the years and we’ll be so sad when it’s time to graduate in a few years. We’re so very thankful for the amazing team of teachers at Little Tree. 💚🌳

Can’t say enough good things about LTE! As a first time mom, I experienced the worry, guilt, and uncertainty of dropping my daughter off that first day. Almost a year later, I can tell you it’s the best decision we’ve made to have her go to Little Tree! I continue to be absolutely AMAZED at her growth, engagement, and how much she loves going to “school” the three days she goes. She is thriving there and that was evident very early on. At 4 months old, she was showing signs of being able to use silverware and feed herself. Now at 13 months, she can eat independently and continues to show signs of continuous learning and development. I love the personal touches and feel you get from the team: they post pictures throughout the day and keep a log of her activity. They’ve been the first to suggest helpful advice when needed, and I always feel like they truly know our daughter insidiously, despite having 12 others in the class. A few months ago, we had a change in the head teacher of her classroom and even that went smoothly! They thoughtfully select the staff that supports the kids and I truly feel like this is a place we are so fortunate to have, particularly as our family grows and our twins will be staring there early next year. I’m proud to be a part of the LTE family and cannot appreciate or love the staff more - thank you so much!!!

Over the past nine years, I’ve consistently been impressed by the professionalism, stability, and dedication of their teaching staff — many of whom have been with the school throughout our entire journey. As a professional in career education, I deeply admire Little Tree’s strong commitment to ongoing teacher development. The organization provides well-defined pathways for professional growth and offers both financial and professional support for staff pursuing Montessori certification programs, which include national training site visits. Additionally, Little Tree Education fully funds and operates a Montessori teacher training program at Dover High School—a remarkable investment that demonstrates their rare and commendable dedication to developing educators. The school maintains exceptional standards of cleanliness and organization, and their classrooms are thoughtfully designed to promote true child-led learning. Their community involvement is equally strong — from family events to the beloved annual Little Tree concert. Little Tree Education has been an integral part of our family’s story and an essential partner in our children’s early education. I recommend them without hesitation.

We have had phenomenal experiences at LittleTree Madbury. All three of our littles with very different personalities and needs have gone here since they were infants and thrived. Our oldest went off to kindergarten beyond prepared with the skills to succeed. We have always felt supported by the teachers and staff at LTE - we view them as an extension of our family, helping us raise our children to be kind and independent little humans.
