We absolutely ADORE the KKLA family. Every single staff member from teachers all the way to the owner are so kind and caring. At any given moment you can walk into the center and find Ashley (owner) and her mom being hands on with the kids playing, helping, and caring for them. All of the teachers truly love their kids and you can tell the kids bring them joy. This center is ALWAYS having something fun planned for the kids and my son has learned so much since he’s started attending. Recommend 10/10!!
Very unprofessional. The owner actually called to let the child’s caregiver know that the toddler could no longer attend. Nothing was mentioned to the caregiver when she dropped the child off that morning. Approximately two hours later when the caseworker arrived, the caregiver received a call. All of the child’s belongings were sent home with the caseworker when she picked her up for a visit with her mother. Instead of informing the caregiver of different occurrences in the classroom, maybe indicating she needed to look for a different daycare would have been more helpful. Obviously this facility was not the best place for this child and that’s ok. I’m sure a change of scenery will be best for all involved. The situation could have been handled much better by simply informing the caregiver she needed to look for another daycare and give her at least to the end of the week to find placement. What some may consider to be Terrible Two’s, compounded with the fact you have been separated from your mother, could possibly get you kicked out of this daycare with no notice. All that was needed was conversation about finding placement. Simply sending the child’s belongings home with the a new case worker was unprofessional, insensitive and cowardly.
After reading a few of the other reviews, I can only imagine there is some personal grudge as this is NOT the experience we had. The staff here are extremely friendly and professional. Albeit a short time, my son loved being there. We recently moved to Colorado and only wish we could find a place the same as this. We miss you all there.
