We did not enjoy our experience. The first two years were good - my son’s toddler room teachers were great. Then he started preschool and the quality took a nose dive. Teachers are struggling with inadequate support and limited resources. School is quick to flag "behavioral concerns" under the pretense of wanting what’s best for them, but the director puts zero effort into communicating what’s going on or being partners to help parents, and the teachers are stretched too thin to help. Meanwhile, my son was repeating inappropriate things at home that he'd heard from his teachers ("You're out of control! Santa doesn't bring gifts to kids who don't listen!" etc), and my husband saw a teacher drag a student by his shoulders at pick up one day. We started a new school a few months ago and it’s been a refreshing change; they've been great partners and it’s the best thing I could have done for my son.
We send our 1 year old daughter to Little Steps. She loves going to school and has created a loving bond with her caregivers so much so she reaches to them at drop off. The facility is always clean. The owners go above and beyond with cleaning for covid-19 precautions. We always see the caregivers masked. It is a great and safe environment for my growing child. I always recommend Little Steps to friends who are looking. Their communication with families is always excellent.
I can't say enough great things about Little Steps and their incredible staff! Finding the right daycare for my first child seemed like a daunting task, but following our tour of the facility, we knew that we had found the perfect fit! Jess and her team made us feel immediately comfortable and confident that our son would be immersed in a safe, fun, and educational setting. Our son lights up at check-in as the staff welcomes us, and throughout the day we get updates and pics through the app. It's a reassuring reminder that he’s in the attentive and loving care of professionals. As a new parent, it was essential to find a center that would fit my child's developmental needs, and LittleSteps has done just that!
We have been so lucky to be a part of the Little Steps Family for the last 8+ years. They have loved, cared & educated our 3 children who have thrived during their years at Little Steps. Not only do I have the peace of mind that they are well cared for, they have also entered elementary school more than prepared for the challenges they may meet. The facility is new, meticulously cleaned and updated, and conveniently located in the same building as our pediatrician's office. The staff goes above and beyond with creating fun and engaging activities. They also truly love and care for your children as if they were their own (Dawn Dawn, Jamie Lynn & Rebecca are incredible rockstars in particular!) With one child left at the Little Steps we know we will really miss the family that has been created there over the last 8 + years.
Can’t say enough about our experience at Little Steps.!! Has put both our children on a path to great academic and social success! Clean, professional, super communicative and supportive. The director goes above and beyond to make a connection with ours and each family. The teachers are so invested in the growth and success of their kids. Kids have made such great friends here. Little steps will always be the benchmark.
