Our little one has been here since he was 10month in infant class and now has been transited to toodler class for a while. He has so much fun at Little Steamers every day, and has been taken very good care of. I love that all the teachers at Little Steamers are professional, loving and caring. They also prepare so many fun, educational and inspiring activities for young kids, such as painting, handcrafting, sensory play as well as circle time. There are also many opportunities for parents to be engaged. AM / PM snacks as well as lunch are included in the program. The classrooms are remodeled, divided by age groups, cleaned and sanitized daily. Highly recommended to those who are looking for high quality daycare for their little ones!
Teachers here are very caring. Facility is remodeled and well designed, including good lighting and children’s restroom. Children can do a lot of interesting development activities and explorations, both indoors and outdoors. Snack and lunch are provided, which is another big plus. My daughter loves going to school here and we feel fortunate that we found this nice preschool for her.
We are beyond thankful to have found this gem! Little Steamers has the resources and standards of an established external childcare facility, yet maintain the coziness of a home-care due to the smaller size. Little Steamers was the first place we toured when starting the daycare search for our 1 year old. We were super nervous as there aren’t many options nearby for kids under 2. We didn’t want a large chain but were also uncomfortable with how old fashioned most home cares seemed to be. This was the perfect fit for our needs. They were an after school place turned preschool turned preschool & infant daycare. Infant and toddler rooms are newly remodeled. Our little one thrived here after starting at 13 months. We are so thankful to have found this place with the most amazing staff!
We are very happy with Little STEaMers. We chose this facility due to the Reggio philosophy, the impressive direction of Ms. Carmina, the location, the lovely building and playground area, their sanitization practices, and technology use (an app to share lots of photos). We would probably do a forest school if we could, but LS offers slightly more time outdoors than other options in the area. Food is included, and it is healthy and good. I was initially looking for a Mandarin speaking school, and LS does offer Mandarin lessons, but it seems to be only 30 min 2x a week. Price wise seems to be above average, but totally worth it. The small class and high teacher ratio gives an intimate feel, and we love all the teachers. They also host (optional) family events, which is great for parents who want to be more involved. Our daughter started at 2 in the preschool program with Ms. Pallavi, and I've heard wonderful things about the infant care (not a lot of places offer this too!). They were also extremely accommodating of drop off/pick up times around work shuttles which are inflexible. Not sure if the website got updated, but the typical operating hours seem to be 830-530.
A wonderful daycare! Our daughter is thriving, like she did in bright horizons. The teachers are caring and friendly, the food is nutritious, they even provide milk for the kids. And I enjoy the curriculum’s flexibility and the creative things the kids get to do. There’s also a nice small community feel to this place - they hosted mothers and Father’s Day picnics for us, which was adorable.
