Children show strong academic progress and emotional development, with parents noting affordability, flexibility, and accommodations for special needs. The facility is described as family-oriented with a director (Mrs. Jones/Ms. Rubina) who is responsive to community issues.
As a long term parent of 7 beautiful children. All of my children have attended Little Stars Learning Center. Each day my son runs in and hugs the staff and Mrs. Jones with such passion and joy. Mrs. Jones and her staff are all very attentive and professional. I’ve never had any issues with my children being mistreated or unsafe here. Any time there is something that happens in the community or effecting the daycare Mrs. Jones promptly calls the parents and remedies the situation. My children are 15,14,13,10, 7 and 3 and they’ve all attended here. I completely recommend Little Stars Daycare as I’ve been a long time parent there and it’s a very family oriented. Additionally, I like to add that this place does accommodate children with special needs and parents also provide additional resources for their children with special needs like having a therapist come and work with their child to learn appropriate life skills.
I went there one time just to find most of the kids sitting in front of the TV and not doing any activities. People supposed to care of them are on their phone. My daughter begged me not to let her go over there.Well, kids can sense when it’s a safe place or not. The place seems dirty and not well taken care of as well as Bathrooms that smelled bad.
I have 4 childern who all went to little stars. My only son has ASD is now 8 y/o since attending little stars at age of 2. Never experience any incident but if situation occurred it was address by Ms.Jones and handle professionally. He is special needs but require assistance there always positive reinforcement and has accommodation when needed. I appreciate Ms. Jones level of expertise is definitely worthwhile and they continue to thrive. Their is room for improvement but, until my child age out which 2 have already they will not be station no where else.
I have a child with autism who attended this school, Ms.Jones had no patience with my baby who was 2 at the time. She would pull my baby by the arm out of aggravation. Call me to pick him up at least 2 times a week because he would cry often. He has problems adapting to change. He would walk around the daycare all day with no positive reinforcement. She or her staff has no knowledge of Austim Disorder (ASD) however, the website mention they do. Worst daycare to send your child who has a disability!
My son has been with Little Stars for over 6years. This program has been so helpful for a single mom. They are super accommodating and flexible and definitely put the children’s needs first. The weekly price is affordable and the location is great (within walking distance from my house) but centrally located near the playground and the neighborhood pool. The learning lessons are great for transitioning into the school system and the staff are very friendly, helpful, and reliable. I definitely recommend this learning center, don’t pass up this great opportunity . 😊
